Chapter 1

Prug!

Plak!

Drugg!

(What a slap!)

In a dark, cavernous room, the only sound that echoed was a scream, loud with pain but fading after a moment.

Jason Hilton - a 27-year-old man, a part-time delivery boy who works hard to support his family and girlfriend.

He was tall and well-built in an orange T-shirt and black trousers, lying on his back, unable to block any of the blows being thrown at him.

There were several men in the room who had been ordered to finish Jason off. His body was covered in bruises and his face was swollen with fresh blood running down his jaw and neck.

No one saved him, not even a rat could enter the secret room. Far away from humanity.

Jason whimpered in pain with each wound that cut his body, his voice weakening with his strength. "I'm innocent, why are you all beating me up for no reason?" Jason asked, his voice a weak brick.

The more Jason rebelled, the more they went after him. He didn't understand what he was going through.

What was his fault? Why did they all take him and beat him until he couldn't move? It was all one big question for him.

"You murderer! You deserve this!" Said one of the thugs who beat him.

"A... what? Murderer?" Jason froze and slowly opened his eyes, the hard blows still hitting him relentlessly.

Earlier he had got into a huge fight with his cousin Sean Clooney, the eldest son of his uncle Donal Clooney. It's a first-class family that has become wealthy in recent days.

His girlfriend Alexa was harassed on the day of their engagement and Jason couldn't let that happen, so they went at it until they ended up beating each other up. It seems to have struck a chord with the playboy who felt challenged by a part-time worker.

"You killed Jhon White and you must pay with your life!" His scream echoed through the silent room.

Jason was startled, his head snapping up in question. "Jhon White? Isn't he Alexa's foster brother?"

Jason didn't know. Alexa hadn't told him about it at all, and Jason was just now hearing about it.

"Are you stupid? Or are you actually a skilled killer? Don't you even know the people you kill?" The man sneered angrily, his eyes glaring at Jason.

The look on his face was one of rage, as if he wanted to finish him off in seconds.

"I didn't kill him! It wasn't me! Believe me!" Jason denied with certainty.

When the thug heard Jason's explanation, he became even angrier. He thought Jason was pretending to avoid punishment from them by putting on a sad face.

The thug walks up to Jason, lifts his chin, grips it tightly and stares into his angry face, "Don't pretend to reject me, young man! I'm not stupid! All the evidence points to you, so ---- you can't deny it anymore!"

The thug released his grip coldly. And showed a disgusted face.

Jason was speechless, he hadn't done what he was accused of. But how could Jason prove it? Jason didn't have any proof.

"What evidence do you have to accuse me of this?" Jason asked, his voice deep and stammering.

The thug pulled a mobile phone out of his left pocket and showed him a photo on the phone, "You, look at this! Can you deny it! Hah!" He shouted loudly.

Jason tried to look at the photo even though his eyes were full of wounds. He examined it carefully, squinting his eyes.

He saw a man lying lifeless. The wound in his stomach was caused by a holy dagger he carried. Around his neck was a shawl he often wore when he was cold. There was a shocking inscription addressed to him. "Weak Man". It was a name he was often called.

"Shit! Why is all this stuff on him?" Jason was furious beyond belief. He growled and gritted his teeth.

There was nothing Jason could say to deny it. No wonder he looked for the scarf yesterday, but couldn't find it.

Who had quietly taken it? That was his big question.

There was one thing that confused him, how could the holy dagger kill him? Jason had hidden it well. It was strange and unexpected.

"This is all yours, isn't it? You can't deny it now. All the evidence points to you. You can't lie!" One of the thugs said firmly.

He hit Jason harder than before. Making his body roll on the floor. Making him even more helpless with his moans of pain.

At the same time, a mobile phone rings, it's a call from one of his fellow thugs. He tells Jason something shocking.

"The Hilton family all died at my hands today, they begged for mercy before I punished them one by one." His voice was loud and clear in Jason's ears.

"Really? That's good news, you better run before the police hunt you down!"

The other thug didn't answer. His voice faded into silence.

Soon the calls stopped and the thug hung up his mobile phone. They were happy to hear the news. His smile added to his aura of triumph.

Meanwhile, Jason overheard their conversation and was stunned, his face pale and his lips turning blue. His body was shaking so badly that he could barely move. He had just heard a bolt of lightning strike his body. Shocked by the pain that pierced his heart.

"What... Did you just kill my family?" Her words were faint, almost lost.

The thug laughed triumphantly, raised both hands to his waist and walked over to her. He said. "Yes, I sent them to hell. Want to catch up with them?"

The thug said with a grin and raised his eyebrows slightly.

Jason's face suddenly turned red, anger overcoming him despite his helpless condition.

. He hadn't expected the thugs to finish off his family as well.

The thugs laughed as loud as they could, instantly making the room echo. "Hahahahaha. I'm sending you to your family, young man!" A powerful and hard punch knocked Jason almost unconscious.

"Punch!"

His body bounced and rolled on the floor, fresh blood pouring from his mouth. Jason felt as if every bone in his body had been crushed. Although he was still conscious, he couldn't move his limbs.

"Let's get out of here! The young man is dead and we've done our job!" All three thugs left, leaving Jason alone in the dark room.

In his semi-consciousness, Jason said, "You can't just leave, we're not done yet!"

At that moment Jason felt something magical happen, a necklace he was wearing suddenly emitted a warm white light and possessed his body. All the wounds he had suddenly healed themselves. Jason felt his pain slowly disappear. Ding! Jason had become a new and stronger person.
