Chapter 7

Demon lord Moloch

The threat posed by this one demonic entity, which was floating above them, was the most significant threat that Sky's group had ever perceived from demons. From it's aprarence, the first thing that would spring into everyone's  head was that this must be a low-level demon; nevertheless, this was very definitely not the case.

The demon known as Moloch, who had been injured by Sky Stormbreaker, was floating above Sky and his group at the time in question. As soon as the being spotted Sky's company, he was overcome with anger and couldn't help but squish his face and tighten his fists in response.

After what seemed like over half a millennium had passed since their last encounter, with the human Sky stormbreaker. Even after five hundred years, he had not completely recovered from the wounds he had sustained as a result of that confrontation since the wounds he had sustained had been so terrible to the point where it would take him almost eternity to heal.

As a kind of discipline for the fact that he had failed on his prior mission, his father had decided against curing him and instead refused to do so. Instead, as punishment, he was made to lie in this coffin for the duration of his recovery, even though it was painful for him.

He had spent the entire time sealed inside of this coffin, and the little quantity of energy that was provided by his underlings was the only thing that had allowed him to maintain his life during this period. However, because this unsightly ants had successfully eliminated all of his minions, he was unable to continue refilling his energy supply in any way.

The more he looked at these people, the more he started to feel hatred; he loathed all humans since sky stormbreaker had almost killed him, and left him in this horrible state. now theses these humans were trying to keep him from healing once more. The mere sight of them almost drove him crazy with the urge to kill and destroy them all.

As they stared up at the thing that was floating above them, the members of the Sky's group gave off the impression that they were anxious. Before they went inside, a depiction of a humanoid being stood guard at the entrance. When they went inside, the demon seemed to be an exact reproduction of that figure.

The fact that, despite its fragile appearance, this monster was yet incredibly dangerous was the one and only thing that differentiated it from the picture.

The more Moloch looked at the humans, the more he realized that they were nothing more than low-level humans, that their strength was nothing to write home about, and that they were all so weak that he could kill them with the tip of his finger. In other words, he could kill them all with the tip of his finger if he so wished.

However, because of the animosity he had toward them, he did not want to just murder them; rather, he desired to engage in playful interaction with them. He knew that after he had killed them, he would be able to extract at least some of the energy that remained in their bodies. Because he was Moloch, he had always taken pleasure in toying with the animals he hunted.

Moloch's sneering grin erupted as soon as he started to think of the different ways in which he was going to take pleasure in torturing them to death and it was as wide as his entire face.

When Sky and the others saw the monster's facial features which had been altered to include a smile, Sky could not help but feel a chill run down his spine. The others felt the same way.

Moloch faced the group with an evil grin as his hoarse voice tore out of his mouth "Lowly beings, the name of this demon lord is Moloch."

As a result of the information provided by the Knight's Order, Sky and the other members of the group were rattled up when they heard the demon lord speaking, as they all knew that only the highest level demon lords could speak english.

As soon as they became aware of their predicament, one of the Knights cried out, "We are doomed!"

Moloch could not help but smile wider as he noticed the horror on their faces; this was what he treasured the most, which he referred to as "the look of despair." Moloch could not help but chuckle at this sight.

As for the humans, everyone of them was shaken to their very core as it was revealed that the enemy they were up against was a demon king that could only be vanquished by the most powerful members of the Knight Order.

"Kneel!!!" Moloch demanded and a powder presence exuded out of his being and sorted to force them into the kneeling position.

Because of the imposing pressure boring down on them, it attempted to force them into complying with the commands that were being given to them by a booming voice that they heard in their brains. The voice was so powerful that they had no choice but to obey what it said. Their legs started to shake as they battled to keep control of their bodies and resist the need to kneel as they were forced to do.

As they struggled, a question rang in their hearts. They were Knights, so why on earth would they genuflect before a demon when they knew full well that this particular demon was well out of their league?

Moloch smiled warmly at his adversary and inquired, "Putting up a fight, are you?, Bringing you to your knees shouldn't be too much of a problem for me, even if my strength isn't even a twentieth of what it used to be."

Sky, along with the rest of the people, was having a difficult time suppressing the temptation to kneel down. However, he was doing better than the rest of them because he had a higher mental strength than the rest of them, which made it somewhat simpler for him to fight against the word "kneel" coming from their heads.

Nevertheless, though he was doing better than the rest of them because he had a higher mental strength than the rest of them, Sky was in no position to be happy over it.

When he heard Moloch claim that he was currently only a tenth of his former strength, it was almost as if he gave up attempting to resist. It was almost as if he gave up trying to resist when he heard Moloch say that. They were almost brought to their knees by a single sentence, which was only a twentieth of the force that he possessed.

The majority of the party had already given up fighting after learning about how powerful the demon had been in the past, and they were about to kneel down when the commander of the group observed that everyone had lost their will to continue.

The spell that Moloch had cast was eventually completely undone as a result of him hastily exerting every last ounce of his strength. He got to his feet and started yelling.

"We are Knights; we do not cower when confronted by demons; rather, we stand strong and combat even to the point of death, exert you wills, grab your weapons and face this vile creature together with me!"

As everyone sat there and listened to the leader, thoughts of the training that they had received from the knights order began to cross everyone's minds. They were all well respected knights, so they questioned themselves about how they could prostrate themselves before a demon.

They were able to gain power from the words that were delivered by the commander, and after that, they started to resist the enchantment that had been created by Moloch with all of their might.

Moloch's face contorted in anger as he saw what was taking place since the thing he detested the most was when those under his control disobeyed him.

Moloch made what seemed like a cutting gesture with his finger, and an intense burst of light went in the direction of the guy who was in leadership of the group. It was impossible to fathom the speed at which it was traveling.

The leader shouted in agony as the black streak sent by Moloch severed both of his legs. At the same time, blood began to stream uncontrollably from one of the leader's severed legs. The leader howled out in agony as the black streak severed both of his legs. "Ahh," the leader shouted.

Fear spread across the entire company as soon as they saw the captain's severed leg, and they were unable to comprehend the strength that was contained within the shadowy streak of light that Moloch had dispatched.

"That's it, our entire group is going to be destroyed. We are all doomed to perish!"

Aron, who was in an extreme state of fear, started wailing incoherently out of his terror.

Moloch raised his head to have a look at the other people present, and he couldn't help but break into a broad grin when he realized that everything was unfolding precisely the way he had envisioned it would.

"When I order you to kneel, you kneel" "kneel!!"

Moloch delivered another command, but this time he did so without employing any form of sorcery in the process.

Fear had already taken control of the group's consciousness, including Sky's; in fact, they were so petrified that no one bothered to go rescue the leader, who was still shouting despite the pain that he was experiencing as a result of his severed legs. Sky's consciousness had already been taken over by fear.

Moloch grinned to himself as he watched this process develop and, with the exception of Sky, everyone else was now on their knees. Moloch observed as each person in turn dropped to their knees.

As soon as Moloch understood that there was still someone who was disobeying him, his thoughts immediately burst into a fit of wrath. Moloch was furious.he let out an enraged shout then he raised his fists and was about to launch an assault on the other person.

" Sky was subjected to Mr. Smith's criticism on his behavior, as he yelled at him "Sky! You idiot, What the heck are you doing, kneel!"

Sky wasn't entirely clear on the reasoning behind his refusal to kneel. Ever since he was a young boy, he was able to think back to his earliest memories and recall that he detested the position of kneeling. When he was in high school, he was usually picked on by the bigger lads due to the fact that he was on the shorter side. No matter how badly he was beaten, he never bowed his knee, despite the fact that this was something they had always insisted he do. Sky surly wasn't going to kneel to this demon like the others did even if it meant losing his life.

The last time he was required to kneel was when the loan sharks came to grab all of his father's riches. That was the most recent time he had been asked to get on one knee.

They had requested that he and his mother bow so that they could perhaps leave anything for them, but he had refused to do so no matter how much his mother pleaded with him to do so. His mother had kneeled because she was worried about her son's future, but he had steadfastly refused to do so.

Because he was filled with a sense of superiority that prohibited him from doing so, he was unable to submit himself to the authority of anyone else.

Moloch, ruler of the demons, was still dumbfounded even after hearing Mr. Smith exclaim and, more crucially, the word "Sky."

When he heard the word "sky," the evil monster known as Sky stormbreaker sprang to mind. This monster was the one who had caused his injuries and gotten him into this dilemma.
