"Huh what now?.... is this Regression, "Fujuzuki thought, as pools of blood slowly left his body. The blood would then slowly turn into a thin thread that followed a small rift on the alley floor.

The thread carried with it a small soul that led to a secluded space.

----

[Location: infinite Void]

"Huh! where am I?" a confused voice echoed in the vast white space. A soul of a man was stranded there without its memories, This was Fujuzuki.

As Fujuzuki stood there in confusion, He heard a voice calling out to him. The voice that had been calling him came from all different sides. To a man without any memories, The voice was a strand of hope, he thought.

Soon Fujuzuki began to wander the space searching for something he knew nothing about, and for what seemed to be an eternity he walked alone only remembering his name and not what or who he was.

The more he walked, the stranger it felt as if he would not feel tired Nor could he feel Hunger.

"How long have I been here? What is this place?" Those questions began to erupt in his mind as the hope he was searching for was nowhere to be found.

... And even though he walked alone, the vast space was still peaceful, That was until they appeared.

---< ERROR ×????>--- those massage panels suddenly filled the what seemed infinite space and loudly Echoed with their trembling. The experience could render many speechless as it was both frightful and cinematic.

"Wh... What's Happening? am I being rejected? " were the first thoughts that came to the lonely Soul's mind. His panicked voice was all that could be heard, as A game panel with a robotic face appeared amidst the chaotic Message.

---<[Warning] An error has occurred>---

"Huh!? what error are you talking about?"

"Hey, I asked you a question!?"

"What do you mean Termination of name, What are you doing to me !?"

"What do you mean unstable, and who the fuck are you!?"

---

---

"What system are you talking about!?"

---

---

---

---

"Wait what!? What are you gonna do to me!?"

The lonely Soul soon started to see a system panel materializing in front of his face.

"What the fuck is this? Get away from me" with fear has already taken root in his mind, The lonely soul was terrified as something forced itself on him.

{--Name Ruthven Highlord.

---Sex: Male

---Age:???

---Occupation: None specified.

---Special traits: True Nature.--}

"Who's Ruthven?"

---

---

"Wait what transfer?"

The space soon cracked below Ruthven's feet as he fell into a wide universe filled with millions of stars, planets, and galaxies.

These Stars that Surrounded him were like daggers as if he was being watched, and as he fell Ruthven came closer to a planet that resembled Earth, or that was what he had thought.

He didn't even know where the name "Earth" came from, but he thought it best suited the planet he was heading for, and even if Ruthven was falling from space into a new planet, He didn't feel an ounce of fear.

This was his chosen destination he thought, But Before He could reach It, A giant worm-like creature showed itself and opened its jaws as it tried to swallow him, Several uncountable teeth were all Ruthven saw.

Even when falling from space onto a new planet, Ruthven didn't feel fear, but when he was to be eaten by a worm filled with more than a thousand teeth, The creature became the embodiment of fear to him.

He soon started to scream towards his inevitable end, that was until the system interface popped in front of his face with a loading bar that was almost filled.

*DING* It sounded as it hit 100%.

Ruthven was soon engulfed by holy light as he soon disappeared from his path to death.

-----

---

Suddenly jumping as he heard the very familiar artificial voice again. Ruthven started to search left and right for the presence of the panel, and seeing as the cause of his near-death experience was nowhere to be seen Ruthven started to take notice of his surroundings.

Under the calming shade given by the Ancient tree, He was surrounded by vast grasslands as he and the tree were the only ones alive.

The thought of him and the tree being the only ones alive didn't sit well with Ruthven. "Where am I?" he asked, and while Standing up from his position, Ruthven soon walked around looking for any sign of life.

At first, he would circle the tree to see if there were any insects on it, but as he soon found out that there weren't any, He began to expand his search area.

Days would soon pass with Ruthven still unable to find any sign of life, but with him unable to feel hunger and fatigue the days passed by without notice.

After a long time of searching, Ruthven finally gave up, and as he looked around the grasslands, He could still see the ancient tree he woke up under.

"(sigh) Guess it's time I returned."

Once again Ruthven set his goal to return to the tree.

Many days of walking followed after his decision, but as he returned to the tree, Ruthven for the first time saw something unfamiliar but still familiar.

[The System Panel]

The panel stood there in wait for him, with a notification icon above it."Huh! What's that doing there?" He asked as he moved towards it.

His body would ache every time he got closer and closer to the panel, and upon reaching the tree, there was this cold feeling he had as if Something was looking at him.

While trying to ignore the stare he felt, Ruthven checked the panel trying to understand what had been written on it.

---<[ Tutorial Quest ]---

---[{accept}-{Decline} ]>---

" Tutorial Quest, What's that?" in a confused tone, Ruthven asked the panel that never answered him.

Since He knew nothing of the tutorial Quest or the system panel before him, Ruthven thought it is best if he didn't take any risks.

Soon his hand slowly moved to press the decline button, but the moment before he could press it, He was swallowed by fear. It was the fear that emerged after remembering all his experiences in the white space.

"What would happen if I pressed the decline button," He thought as the fear made him unconsciously press the accept button.

---

---

"Huh... What happened!?"

---

---

"Again!?"

A familiar sensation of holy light engulfed Ruthven once more as he disappeared from his position

----

[Location: The Dark Forest]

As the teleportation ended Ruthven found himself in a dark forest, and while scanning his surroundings, He continuously felt the eyes of many predators around him.

Trying his best to ignore a feeling like that, Ruthven finally made clear of his surroundings, He was placed on a forest path, The path started where he had stood and continued east.

The forest path had led to many sounds, but to Ruthven, its main attraction was the voices of humans. Ruthven didn't stop to think as he soon headed east, He would brazenly rush through the forest forgetting any uneasiness he would feel.

After a while of running, light began to pierce through the once-dark forest, and as Ruthven ran out of the forest, the light rendered him Momentarily blind.

Covering his sights for a few moments, he once again opened his eyes to something that seemed to be a settlement. The settlement was surrounded by a Giant wooden wall a few meters tall, and it had only one gate that was guarded by 2 guards wearing only what seemed like clothes.

"Huh. Where am I now?" he asked

Ruthven then began to carry a terrible expression as he noticed the scene above the settlement, A System Panel, but this one was different as in it it had big words read as [Quest Target]

The only bad things had come out of the system panels and right now a big panel was right before his eyes. After deep breaths, Ruthven soon braced himself as he read the information provided in the [Quest Target] window.

----<[Information: A small village, in it, are 54 villagers. Their daily lives are normal, They've lived like everyone else so far, They could fall in love, get married, Have kids, and die of old age.]

[Quest Name: {The Devil's first Victims}

[Rewards Upon Completion]: *3 Blood points * 10 random stat points and Advancement in The Tutorial +( Bonus given depending on Performance)

[Penalty For inability to meet the requirements]: Experience The deaths of all the villagers alive at that time.>----

As Ruthven read the contents of the panel, he remained indifferent as he thought of his next actions, and from his mouth came " Hmm.. so just gotta murderer around 50 people and that's it?" Something was wrong, he thought.

"That doesn't seem like such a hard task." Every time Ruthven spoke, it felt like something was a huge miss.

"Now the hard part is figuring out how I will do it." He would casually say things like that without batting an eye.

"Poison should work best in this situation, right?" Though his words would come out like that, his mind was thinking the total opposite, and by the time he realized that his mind and words were colliding... He broke down in panic

" Massacre are you kidding me, Why would I do such a thing" were his first words to a whirlwind of confusion. Minutes soon passed and Ruthven had already begun running towards the forest, in search of a place that could help him calm down.

The unfamiliar scenery he would see in the forest was also stressful to the point where he rushed towards the first cave he saw.

With the stress that had piled up and a lot of thinking Ruthven did for an hour, The fatigue he ignored in the grasslands caught up with him as he soon fell asleep thinking that he would think everything through when he woke up.

Hours later, unnoticed by Ruthven, The clock had begun to count down, and the time frame was about to end.

While in the comfort of his sleep, Ruthven covered his ears from the voice that would disturb that sleep

As that Massage broadcasted in his head... His limbs began to be split apart by some unknown force.

"Arch Stop, Stop.. some..... Someone Help" Were the words he woke up with as One by one his limbs cut off starting with his hands, legs, Ears and Continuing to his teeth, and strangely enough, Something stopped him from passing out from the pain he experienced a slow, but painful death.

---

---

He was rived with words of screaming pain"No no no no no no" Shaken by the experience, Ruthven quickly remembered that he would have to experience the deaths of all villagers alive at the end of the given time.

The first death was painful enough, so what of the rest that had to follow? he thought.

Soon The second death was about to Begin this time he slowly felt the arms of someone around his neck he began choking, and as he was struggling to breathe, Many more hands started to crush his entire body. This was the second Death.

< Deaths [ 2/54 ]

Another revival began"Please stop please stop" He cried as he knew it was not over.

Knives slowly appeared from thin air and They slowly penetrated his body. This was a very familiar experience for him as it was how he died in his original world.

The knives kept appearing till all that could be seen of Ruthven was blood and every inch of his body stabbed. This was the third Death.

Deaths [ 3/54 ]

With another revival complete, Ruthven's entire body was filled with water as he expanded till death had stopped his suffering.

The cycle of deaths continued.
