Upon the arrival of the Capital, they met the gatekeeper station from the left and also at the right side of the corner of its main gate.The main gate was a humongous impenetrable wooden brown gate that looked like a two sided door.

A gatekeeper was stationed and saw a carriage,  "Oh! the Monji crest, come in," Opens the gate with highest respect. 

The coachman was grateful and said,"Thank you!"

Upon reaching the abode of the Monji Family in the capital, They came out from their carriage and faced the main gate of the clan. Its left and right side of its door is carved with a dragon, to its front from side to side, there is a white sculpture of a dragon facing horizontally. On the upper portion of the gate there is a sign board, and it was written as "White Dragon Clan". 

The two gatekeepers, keeper of the gate of the White Dragon Clan saw a carriage from their crest, One of the gatekeepers went inside and informed the handmade and the handmade informed the head about the arrival of his wife.

Someone opened the door for them and the unconscious madam was carried out, all of them were inside the courtyard and returned to their resting place, while the others made a report to their lord. The madam was escorted to her bedchamber in the main mansion called House of Monji, and so the escort soldiers went  to meet the lord for their report.

Immediately they call a doctor to examine her health,

Royal doctor Jing arrives at their abode and checks her health.

he check her heartbeat on the wrist,

*Duke Gyeden was worried, " How is my wife's health?"

(*Noble title)

Royal Doctor Jing answered, "Your wife faint from fatigue, rest assure her condition is stable, she just needs some enough rest and eat light food to improve her health'".

"Your wife is sickly and frail, prevent her from going outside from time to time"

"My wife had a miscarriage, she was badly depressed, so she decided to go to a temple to pray and hear her plead, so I allow her to go, even if I know it is not safe for her frail and sickly body."

" I can't afford to see my wife grief in sorrow"

Royal Doctor Jing understand the sorrow of the duke,

"Just follow my instructions and your wife will be fine"

"Well then, good bye!"

The duke bent 25 degrees with gratitude behind the royal doctor back with sincerity.

"Thank you!"

After the royal doctor Jing went outside the bedchamber, Maoyi (soldier C) came in.

" your grace, I have an urgent report,"

" When we were traveling going home to the capital, we encountered a beast and being outnumbered, fortunately we saw a traveler carrying a baby in his arms, we ask for his help, we knew it isn't appropriate to ask an unarmed wounded traveler, to make the story short he died with great valor, in his last breath he ask us to take good care of the baby."

Maoyi (Soldier C) bend and grovel,

"Without his aid we wouldn't be here alive and kicking, I would like to ask if it is possible to take good care of the baby, instead of disposing of him."

"Rise, without the traveler's aid my wife's life will be endangered,"

"No need to plead, I would reward the deceased traveler by coping the baby as my own child."

"As for your leadership, sincerity and compassion I will promote you as a leader to a single unit."

Maoyi was grateful and happy,

"Thank you! my grace!"

"I swore a vow in my name that I will remain loyal to this household until death."

Maoyi went out to return and take his rest.

Duke Monji looks at his wife, and touches his cheek at the back of his palm.

"I'm sorry for the lost of our child, I'm thinking of adopting the child as a form of filling for the grief that you have lost"

He went out and checked the baby, upon seeing the baby he was astonished at how the baby is composed and unordinary compared to any children he saw.

Few days have passed by,and the Duchess and the Duke accept the baby as if it were their own child.

He was trained to be like those children as a noble,he was taught literature, martial arts, table etiquette, and etc.

 A year later at age of 1, he was able to walk, unlike any other baby he was healthy, immune to natural disease and had a robust body.

2 years later at age of 2, he was able to speak the native language in this world.

Half a year later, he was able to read and write fluently unlike any other kids.

3 years later, at age of 5 he was able to write his own poem.

"Either it is a cat or dog

Neither are worthy,

If it is a rat or snake

They are treacherous

Neither are worthy,

For the sun and the moon

Shall bow, only who is worthy

Is worthy even the

The dragon is test by

The water by its worth."

The poem was referring to

the ruling and governance,

It means :

"whether it may a man or woman that is weak are not worthy for the throne,

a treacherous schemer and evil is not worthy for the throne.

A ruler who is appointed by the masses

is worthy, for for the masses see worthy in *Him to rule and govern

Even the prince is being tested by its masses if he is worthy for the throne."

(*generalization referring to man and woman)

The norm of this world is equal whether you are a man or a woman. The strong are respected and the weak are trampled like trash. The law of the jungle applies in which the weak are despised, and treated as trash.

The people in the mansion relentlessly praise Xiang Monji, the young prodigy in the house Monji. The peers at his age praise him at the same time being envied by others. But they can't do anything since they can't lay a single strand of hair towards a noble.

Also at the age of 5 he was taught self-defense and trained with the soldiers under the guidance of the duke.

At this moment the Duke realizes that his adopted son Xiang Monji is not fit for cultivation, several months have passed, yet his cultivation is still no avail. Xiang Monji is good at swordsmanship and his knowledge in literature is on par with a scholar. For a House of generals to have a weak heir is not fit to succeed as the head of the house.

For another half a year at age of 6 Xiang Monji's cultivation still stagnant, his spiritual pool still haven't form, despite being a mortal, his physique and agility is equivalent to a sixth grade  *martial apprentice.

Because of this predicament Duke Monji decided to bore another child and the duchess lament, because there adopted child can't cultivate, much worst he will live as a mortal which will be belittle and look down by cultivators, the duchess concur that having another child is better to prevent their downfall and the the younger sibling protect his elder brother from persecution. 

If the house can't bore a cultivator as an heir in a general household, then the title and power will be given towards from a distant relative.

(7 years later....)

So many years have passed, The duke spent much in his fortune and yet to no avail Xiang Monji is still at the peak stage of Martial Apprentice. After that, his cultivation ceased to break through.

His Little brother 7 years apart from him is already at the first level of Martial Practioner.

All the praise that Xiang Monji receives goes to his little brother Yang Monji. In the past 7 years, Xiang Monji has gone into seclusion. He receives the support both from his adopted parents, from meal to cultivation resources, but everything was brought to naught.

After 7 years he goes out from seclusion, to his surprise his little brother stands before him with the eyes of disdain.

 Yang Monji confronts him, "If you were not around all the cultivation resources shall go towards me, and yet here you are a trash that can't cultivate."

"genius? not anymore"

"hmmph, I abhor you, you better stop leeching on my parents we don't need a waste cultivator in our house"

He walked out after saying those words.

And Xiang Monji was left speechless.
