After the feast ended, everyone returned home. The heroes were carried to their room drunk apart from me who didn't eat or drink much in the party so I was led into my room by a very beautiful but yet serious looking maid.

"Wow! Hero, I am impressed that you didn't get drunk like the others, was the party not to your taste", she suddenly said.

"I actually enjoyed the party, the king is really nice to host a feast for us heroes, but I don't think it is wise to get drunk on your first day in a strange world" I answered her with a calm expression.

"Ohh I see! That's quite smart of you hero, I thought you are like the rest, but you have proven me wrong that you do not allow the title to cloud your thinking".

"Well why do you say that?" I asked

"You see apart from the quest of saving the world from the demon kingdom and rise of the demon lord of chaos, you will face many other challenges and fight many monsters basically for the heroes, this is like a suicide mission especially to those who let the title hero get into their head, won't last long in our world" she said.

"Well thanks for the explanation and let me guess you are telling me this means that there are past heroes before who got intoxicated in power then didn't survive the cruelty of this world" I asked her.

She chuckled *hehehe*. 

"Maybe or maybe not".

"My name is Mary and I will be your personal maid throughout your stay in this kingdom" she said then opened the door to my room.

"Ok, em? Mary, see you tomorrow, good night" I closed the door without waiting for her reply.

The Next day, outside the castle

The sun was up, lots of inn were open, bars, markets were open,mercenaries could be seen on the street with their horses, people walking about going to their daily jobs. 

The street was really busy and crowded with lots of people, lots of people could be seen heading to the castle with an excited expression and different kingdoms' important personnel were entering the kingdom just for an important occasion.

Yes, today is the day where the heroes will be introduced to the people of this world and each be distributed into the various 10 kingdoms.

Inside the castle

*Curtain Opened*  "Ah! The second day in a strange world, I said". 

"Those guys were all mouth yesterday, I bet that they have forgotten about earth since they saw the princess of this kingdom and promises made by the king, they even all got drunk yesterday, seriously who gets drunk in a foreign world".

I got dressed, hmm at least their "clothes are kind of comfortable" I said while checking myself out in the mirror, to be honest I was surprised they had a mirror.

*Knock Knock*

"Hem! Hero-sama the food is ready, please come to the dinning hall to eat" said the palace maid after knocking the door.

I opened the door and looked at her with a smile "thank you mary".

"You flatter me hero-sama, I am just doing my duty, no need to thank me" she said those words while still keeping a serious face as usual.

In the dining hall.

We all sat down eating our foods served by the maids after eating for a while then the king said "Young heroes, after eating today's is the day where you all activate your powers and be taken to your respective kingdom to be trained".

I looked at the remaining heroes silently while eating my food as they were all happy and said.

 "Oh boy oh boy, I wonder which class I will be in and what my special ability will be," said the chubby man.

" Well looking how charming I am, I don't need to worry about what my power will be because I know it's going to be good," said the tall handsome man.

"Alright, heroes, it's time to meet the people of this great kingdom and to check your class," the king said.

We all got up from the dining seats and left the hall. On our way outside the castle, we were greeted by various people who are obviously the representative of each kingdom,  here to choose their hero for their kingdom.

Outside the Castle, numerous citizens of the kingdom could be seen waiting, the castle was crowded.

When they all saw the king they all kept quiet. 

After noticing the atmosphere is finally calm, the king started "Good morning people of my great kingdom, kingdom of hertz, as you are all aware about the arrival of our great heroes in our world".

"I would like to officially introduce the heroes to you all" after the king said that, the long curtain was lifted up, revealing our faces to the people.

When our faces were revealed, the whole citizens all shouted in joy as they got to finally see our faces.

"wow! It's really them!"

"They all look handsome "

"Are they really strong enough to protect us, they should not be like the heroes who were summoned three months ago". A muscular man with a scar face said among the crowd.

These brave heroes were summoned and have agreed to protect our world from the rise of the demon lord of chaos.

"Now bring the awakening hour glass" the king commanded.

This is the day everyone is waiting for, heroes are people who can either be in the category of ordinary or special class. Even if it's ordinary, they all get stronger quicker than the average man class, but those with special class are a lot stronger than the heroes who awakened the ordinary class.

The awakening hour glass was brought over, it literally looks like an hourglass.

The old man who we first saw on the first day, walked right to us with the awakening glass on his hand.

He stopped in front of the handsome man and told him to place his hand on the awakening hourglass.

A bright light shone when he placed his hand on the glass. After that was done the man asked him if he could see his information on the little screen with his left eye. 

He checked it and said "Ok this is awesome, it says here that my class is magician and swordsman with a special ability called Holy light of juggernaut" he said.

Immediately when he said this, lots of people were surprised and they all shouted in joy, the different kingdoms representatives quickly showed signs of interest in him even the old man was surprised.

Looking at the reaction of everyone, he quickly became proud, well judging from his facial expression.

The old man quickly asked " Sir hero please what's your name?" 

The handsome man answered "Chris".

After knowing his name the old man shouted "Sir Chris, job: hero, class: Mageswordsman, special ability: ( Rare) Holy light of juggernaut.

After the announcement, he went to the muscular man, who also touched the light and shone bright. After that he mentioned his own class ability also.

"It's says here that my class is barbarian and special ability is enchantment weapon transmutation"

When he said that everyone was surprised again due to their expression, it must be a special class with a special ability.

The old man asked for his name also and gave the announcement.

" Name Robin, job: hero, class: Barbarian and special ability: Enchantment weapon transmutation.

The Same process was done for everyone, some got special classes with special skills, some got ordinary classes.

The chubby man whose name is Bobby got the class beast tamer and special skill 'Fusion'. 

While the guy with the glasses whose name is Henry, got the class: assassin and special skill: Shadow.

Finally it's my turn to touch the awakening glass.

I placed my hand on it…
