When I entered the guild there were a lot of people. I think they started doing the quest in the early morning. Well, let's go to the guild reception to receive a quest. 

Then I started to approach the guild reception.

At the guild reception, I saw Ms. Cat-ears, but it felt unusual.

*ba dum*

She looked extremely beautiful. She looks just like an angel descended from heaven. She was wearing a white top with a pink skirt and on top of that, the white skin of her face was reflecting the early morning rays of the sun. 

Her exposed thighs were so smooth that my hands are now uncontrollable and I wanted to grab her thigh and massage her.

This may be the best thing that has happened to me after coming to this world. 

Then I continued staring at her cute smile as she was talking to another adventurer, which made me want to look at it forever… Wait, another adventurer?

"Who the fuck is that guy" I accidentally shouted out loud.

Everyone started to look at me shockingly, while Miss cat-ears had that same annoying expression on her face when she looked at me.

"Umm… sorry, I'm sorry," I replied, bowing my head down, as I was so embarrassed.

Then I headed toward the guild reception.

"Hi… how are you?" With a weird smile on my face, I said to Miss cat-ears.

"What the f…." She said with a furious tone and then stopped after looking around.

"What do you want?" She replied with an annoying look on her face.

Looking at her face, I thought to take it slow.

"The thing is, I want some information," I replied.

"Really? And what kind of information does a child like you want? Look kid, this place is no playground for little kids like you." She replied with a sarcastic tone.

"Umm… I wanted to know how to make more money"

"Hah! Do you think I am here to give you tips about how to make more money?"

"The thing is, yesterday, when I took the request, I was only able to make 50 Pero, and with that amount of money I couldn't even get a proper meal and a place to stay."

The receptionist then paused for a minute and gave me an intense look. After some time she sighed and said:

"Listen carefully brat, if you want to make a living with only G-rank quests, then one request per day isn't enough" 

"So that means I can take on multiple requests in a day?"

"Yes, but you can only take 3 requests per day."

"If I took all 3 requests in a single day, then what happens if I am unable to complete the request on that day?"

"As you know, the G-rank request is mostly errands given by locals, so they want us to respond as soon as possible to their request such that they can finish their work."

"So they don't want us to delay the request for more than one day?"

"Exactly, so the time limit of request completion is 1 day, and the time limit for the request confirmation to the guild is 2 days."

"What happens if I exceed that time?"

"If you didn't complete the request on time, then you will have to pay double the amount of money in the request and if you completed the request and didn't confirm it on time, then your money will be reduced to half or sometimes, when it is too late you will get fined"

"So, I have to keep in mind to complete the request within a day and to submit its confirmation within two days."

"There is one more way to make more money, that is to complete the emergency requests."

"Emergency request?"

"Yes, sometimes our request owners want a response immediately from the guild, so we send someone who is currently available at that moment, so it depends on your luck and you get two times the normal requested amount."

"Two times? Wow, guess luck does play some role in money-making."

"That is all the information I can give you. If you talk with other adventurers, maybe you could get more information."

"Yes, thank you very much for all that information. Is there any kind of request available right now?"

"Yeah, there is a request which came this morning and is suitable for you."

"Can I get the details of the request?"

"The request is to clean the public toilet and the request was issued from the local authorities. It will give you 80 Pero once you complete it, so you have to go to their office before starting the request and they will give you more details about the request.”

“What? 80 Pero! That’s a lot”

“Requests have rewards based on the difficulty you face in completing them”

“Thank you, then I will take on that request.”

Then she gave me the request paper that contained the details of that request. I grabbed the paper and headed toward the given address.

When I headed to the requested location, I saw many people on my way and it was unusual as it was still early in the morning. I think people are hard-working in this world.

I am saying it because in my previous world I always woke up after 9 am and sometimes it gets to noon. The society I live in started to do their everyday activities only after 7 am. You can say 7 am is still early, but if I consider the time zone of my previous world, then I can say right now the time is still 7 am and when I was in the market area earlier asking for the price of an apple, it was 5 am. 

So, I think the market opens in the early morning because adventurers like to take requests early in the morning.

So, after taking my time watching all of those people going to work and enjoying the morning vibe, I arrived at the office of the local authorities.

The office building is not as big as Adventurer Guild but it was well maintained. Then I headed inside the office and I saw every person in there doing some sort of work and being very busy. It was like they didn’t have even a shred of a single second to spare, so I hesitated to call out to any of them.

Then I thought I had to get the details of this request from someone. I headed in searching for a kind soul to tell me the details of my request, then I saw a reception the same as the Adventurer guild. The only difference is that there are no cat ears nor is there any girl on that desk.

I think the problem lies with the budget. Well, I don’t have to worry about that as it is not my problem. So, let’s head towards the reception and ask about the request.

“Hello, How can I help you?” A tall young man with a good-looking face spoke to me.

“Hi, I came here on behalf of a public toilet cleaning request,” I replied.

“Ah yes, we sent that request to the guild some time ago but they were quick to respond this time around or you should be someone new.”

“Uh… yes, I recently applied to the guild and started taking on requests.”

“Figures… well, not that it matters, I will give you the details for now.”

“Yeah, OK…”

“The request is to clean a public toilet and you have to clean it within 3 hours because we will be closing that particular toilet so that you can clean it.”

“Are there any other public toilets around this area other than this particular toilet?”

“There are 3 public toilets in Rogerberg town, but if one of them gets closed for too long, other toilets will get more crowded, so you have to clean it quickly and return.”

“OK, I will do my best. By the way, where is the equipment which I will be using to wash the toilet?”

“You will get the equipment on the site of work. Now, what are you waiting for? Go and do your work, the clock is ticking.”

After taking the details of my request, I exited the office. I headed toward the location of the request. After some time, I arrived at the location. It is a building that is not at all maintained and is too disgusting even for a person with a lot of pressure inside their stomach. This place was so dirty that I didn’t even know where to start cleaning.

“Do they take 5 Pero even to shit in a place like this?” I talked to myself

“Not anymore, because there were a lot of complaints about cleaning this place up, but because the authorities avoided people's complaints, there were no more customers for this place anymore and they have to clean up this place after so much time.” A person behind me said to me all of this.

“So, are you an officer?”

“Ah, yes. I am here to give you this equipment to clean up this place.”

“Oh, thank you for that.”

“You're welcome and you should probably start working.”

“Ah, OK…”

Then I took all the equipment from the officer and headed inside. When I saw the beautiful scenery inside one of those toilets, I couldn’t stop myself and puked on the spot.

“What the fuck, what kind of people are there who don’t even clean after shitting” I muttered after seeing that beauty.

Then I visited other toilets, I saw the exact same scenery and I puked every time I saw it.

“ Damn it… now I understand why people stop visiting this shithole.”

After puking 2 to 3 times, I started cleaning, one shit after another. But it was no easy task as it was really disgusting. The thing I hate most about this request is the smell of shit that is in every corner of the toilet. After some time, my nose got adjusted to it but it is still hard to breathe, so I had to go outside every 30 minutes. 

After 2 hours, I completed the request and washed the toilet completely. Even though I washed it completely, the smell of shit isn’t going away from my nostrils. Let’s just get the sign of local authorities on my request paper and head to the guild.

I headed outside the public toilet. I saw the man who gave me the equipment at the toilet office. Then I headed towards him.

“Oh, so you have completed the cleaning, let me check it up.” He replied as I approached him.

He headed inside the toilet to check whether I had done my job or not. After some time, I saw him heading back toward me.

“Very good, you have done a great job. Give me the request paper, let me sign it.”

Then I took out the paper and gave it to him. He pulls out a stamp and pastes it on my paper.

“Thank you very much, I will now head out to the guild” I replied to him.

“Your welcome,” he replied with a smile on his face.

I replied with a smile and started to head back to the guild. 

This job was not easy but it took less time compared to the milk can delivery job. But this job was probably more difficult than the delivery job and I don’t want to do it again. But if you think about it, this job is more efficient and less physical, plus I get more money as compared to milk delivery. So maybe my mind may change in the coming future.
