The Big Fight

The team got to the backyard of Dave's hostel room.

It was dark and empty, but a few noises from some meters apart could be heard. Other than that, the area seemed to be clear.

"Alright, boys, this is what we are going to do. "You go there, out there and start throwing stones at their windows,"

Once they are awake and annoyed, then you run towards our direction where we will be waiting for them to get ambushed. "Remember to make sure you are being chased by them," Max explained.

"Alright, this should be easy," Bony said as he rubbed his hands together.

"Then I will activate my ability and cast an illusion on the area that will only affect them," Max said.

"I can't wait for this plan to work out," Bobby said evilly, with a huge smirk on his face.

Just as they planned, Bony went and started throwing stones at Dave's hostel window.

*Pa!* The first stone hit the window and fell to the ground.

*Pa!!* The second stone fell shortly after.

*Pa!!!* The loud sound of the stone hitting the window could be heard, as it got stronger and stronger every time.

"What the heck is going on?" one of them hissed as they all woke up due to the large noise at their window.

Creek!

The sound of the window about to shatter could be heard.>

The window couldn't hold on any longer as it crashed and the stone flew in with force, crashing the vase in their room.

Joshua got pissed at whoever destroyed their window and room.

They went to the broken window to check who it was.

"Who the heck are you?!" Peter asked angrily.

Bony, who was outside, simply looked up with a huge grin on his face.

Bony said to himself.

"Mission accomplished. Now we just wait for the losers to start chasing me. "

He began to laugh just to provoke them more, and he succeeded because Dave's roommates were infuriated now.

Henry, the normally cool and cheerful person, was even upset that he just had to say something.

"Come on, guys! "Let's go teach this loser some fucking manners!" he craunched his teeth.

They all left their rooms, jumped out through the broken window, and began chasing after the guy who was annoying them.

Bony noticed that they were running in his direction, which made him perk up.

"Perfect," he muttered with a wide smirk on his face, making him look a little bit creepy.

"Wait, guys. It might be a trap. You just don't chase after a suspicious person all of the sudden! " But Dave shouted, but the boys had gone already.

They were all too swept away with their anger that they could hardly think straight.

"Shit, I have to go also, but I have a bad feeling about this," Dave said to himself as he ran after them.

They chased Bony into the woods, which were behind the school's hostel. Trees and elongated branches obstructed their view, but that didn't stop them.

Max saw Bony running in their direction, which made him jolt up immediately.

"Alright, here they come. "Bobby, get ready," he said.

Max immediately activated his illusion ability and waited for them to fall right into the trap.

He had gotten to the level where he could set his illusion to only affect some sets of people, so it was perfect in this situation.

Just as planned, Dave and his roommates fell into the trap.

"Hey, did you guys see where he went?" Joshua asked as he looked around.

He waited for his friends' reply, but no one answered, which made him confused as he had not realized what was going on yet.

"Guys!" He called again.

Just as before, he got no response. The place was silent with the moonlight shining down on him.

Then, he looked around, thinking his friends were playing a prank on him, but when he turned again, he saw that he was all alone in the woods.

He heard a slow clap coming from behind, but when he looked around, he saw no one. Joshua gulped nervously, not understanding what was going on.

*Clap clap!*

He could still hear that sound, but this time around, it was getting closer and closer.

Out of nowhere, he saw a tall, blurry figure, appearing like a shadow in the woods.

Joshua released his ability immediately as fire danced all around his body. He took his battle stance, waiting for any sudden attack.

"Hey, not so fast, buddy. "You didn't even ask who I am before you took your battle stance," Max said as he unveiled his illusion of himself so that Joshua could know who he was dealing with.

"Why would I bother asking you unnecessary questions? My friends suddenly vanished and you appeared. "It shows clearly that you are an enemy," Joshua hissed.

"Sheesh, you're as hot-headed as your talent," Max smirked.

"Just fuck it and tell me where my friends are!" Joshua snapped venomously because he was already getting pissed off just standing here talking with the dude.

"Since you are so foolish not to realize that you guys are trapped in my illusion, I'll tell you this. "My job is to keep you here while separating you from your friends," Max explained.

After listening to what his opponent said, that's when he realized that he was truly in a fallacy, but what surprised him the most was that he didn't even notice on time.

Well, it doesn't matter; I can simply get out of here by burning the crap out of you, punk!" Joshua gritted his teeth.

"I can see you trying, but this is my illusion! "My domain, in case you haven't noticed and besides, the main reason for all this is to beat the hell out of your stupidly normal friend," Max huffed.

"What did Dave do to you guys to make you do all this? Or are you just using your ability to bully the weak? People like you disgust me greatly. " Joshua glared at the guy.

Joshua bent down like an athlete who is on the track ready to run, and suddenly a burst of hot flames came out of his feet.

Then, all of a sudden, Joshua was flying fast toward Max with a blazing hand.

"Yaaaa, flaming fist!!!" Joshua yelled as he got ready to punch Max in the face.

This sudden attack caught Max by surprise and how fast his opponent was, but he did not frighten him in the slightest, he only smiled.

Just as the fist was about to reach Max's face, something unexpected happened.

Joshua crashed into the tree with a loud slam. He managed to pick himself up and see that his nose was bleeding because he had hit his face on the tree.

"What the actual heck just happened?" Joshua yelled.

A deep and mocking laugh sounded in the dark.

"This is funny. Look at you bleeding from your broken nose. "You look so pathetic," Max snickered as he ridiculed him.

"Wait, when did you get over there? Why is there a tree here that I didn't even notice at first? " Joshua asked out loud.

"You were probably blinded by your anger because I was here and didn't even move an inch, so how would you know?" Max smirked.

Joshua didn't even say anything this time, but he created a bunch of floating fireballs in the air.

"Time to get serious," he gritted as the color of his eyeball changed to yellow.

The temperature of the forest suddenly increased as the heat picked up drastically.

If one were to gaze into Joshua's eye, one could see how seriously he was taking this and that change in his behavior made even Max a little bit change in his behavior mad

Before the fight between Joshua and Max,

"Peter, where are Joshua and Dave?" Henry asked as he looked around.

The crunching of dried leaves underneath his feet made a noise as he moved.

"I am just as confused as you are. I think we lost them after we entered this school forest, "Peter said as he scratched his head."

"Now that the mission is a success, the fun has begun," Bony muttered as he jumped down from a tree.

"So this was a setup, Dave was right," Peter murmured under his breath.

Bony chuckled and looked up at him.

"Maybe you should listen to him next time in the future," he scoffed.

"Wipe that grin off your face right now and tell us where our friends are," Peter hissed as he clenched his fist.

"If you want to know, then you have to fight me," Bony said with a smirk.

He pointed his fingers in the form of what looked like a pistol shape, then suddenly, a small bone bullet came out of his finger.

It flew so fast that Henry was caught off guard when it clashed with his body, destroying his entire arm.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye before Henry or Peter could retaliate.

"Arghhh!!!!" Henry shouted and fell to the ground, beginning as he rolled and wailed in pain.

His eyes were full of uncontrollable tears as a pool of blood began to gush out of his wound like a tap.

Within a second, the floor became bloody, and Peter was so shocked that he stood frozen for a minute.

"What the actual fuck?!" he thought to himself.

Henry Henry! Talk to me, are you alright buddy? " Peter asked as he began to panic.

The loss of blood was too much and if they did not control it quickly, it might have led to a coma or death.

When Peter checked on his friend again, he noticed Henry had passed out from the excess pain that he couldn't bear anymore.

"Now, that's it!!" Peter yelled angrily, as tears were flowing from his face.

He was so sad and angry that he couldn't protect his friend. This situation brought up a bad childhood memory where his family members were killed right in front of him by both the supernaturals as his family was betrayed by the humans.

He was too powerless back then to do anything, and that's why he trained hard all day just to be strong enough, strong enough to protect his loved ones and uphold justice.

But now, one of his best friends' arms has been destroyed by the opponent before the battle even began right in front of him.

Peter quickly threw a huge boulder at Bony.

Before the boulder could even hit the opponent, he focused half of his entire strength on his leg muscles.

This caused the ground to have huge cracks in between them, and then he ran fast toward Bony.

*Boom!*

The boulder crashed in Bony's direction. Seeing that, Peter jumped high ready to deliver the finishing blow, but midway he noticed something strange. His opponent wasn't there any longer.

He hovered in the air for a while in confusion.

"Booya, behind you," Bony muttered, and he was in mid-air just like Peter.

Bony released three shots of his bone bullet again toward Peter.

"Oh no," Peter said, because this was trouble as he couldn't defend himself or turn around in midair.

"Arghh!" he screamed as the bullet hit him on his back.

*Bam!*

He crashed right to the ground, which caused a huge pit hole.

"That should cripple him. "Now to knock them out and bring them to the leader," Bony murmured, ready to knock Peter out in case he was still awake.

He was excited because he and the rest of the team could just lie to the leader that these people were trying to ambush them on their way, also insulting their gang, so they taught them a lesson.

If they succeed, that will earn them the favor of the leader and probably increase their rank in the gang.

He grinned maliciously in the dark.

"You wish, son of a cow!" Peter hissed as he slowly stood up from the ground.

His body was filled with bruises and three visible holes where blood leaked out from each hole.

"How is that possible?" Bony asked surprisingly.

Bony's eyes widened. "The bone bullet has a more explosive effect than the normal gun bullets, which is enough to kill a normal human and seriously injure a blessed person within or below the user rank."

But what Peter did was he focused all of his super strength on his back, causing his muscles to be really tough so the bone bullet couldn't penetrate deep into his back.

"It was so silly of me not to realize that you were somehow messing with my sense of direction, maybe some kind of illusion," Peter scoffed.

"Took you long enough to figure it out! Tell me, what gave me away? " Boney tilted his head and asked.

"First I and Henry got separated from our friends, which was too weird, and secondly, when you shot your bullet, it was so sudden that it looked like you didn't move, but yet you did. Lastly, the rock I threw at you couldn't have possibly missed, meaning my sense of direction might be messed up or you were never at that spot to begin with, "Peter explained."

"Wow, you are smart, but that does not change the outcome of the fight," Bony shrugged.

"Maybe, but what I know is the fact that you can't shoot your bone bullet any longer since you can't keep using your bones as the bullet beside you is probably suffering from the drawback," Peter said with a smile as drops of blood were leaking from his mouth.
