Chapter 3 Dirty Mouth

After chatting for almost two hours, Cologne wanted to say goodbye to go home.

"Ah, it really is a lot of fun every time I chat with you. It feels a bit of a burden on my heart has been lifted," said Cologne honestly.

Mr Ash smiled. "Then come here often. I am also very grateful that you have come here to visit this lonely old man," said Mr. Ash, who slipped a little joke there.

"I will try." Cologne got up from the sofa followed by Mr. Ash who knew that the young man would be home soon. "Thank you Mr Ash for the banquet. I'm going home," said Cologne as he grabbed his jacket which he slung over Mr Ash's sofa.

Mr. Ash nodded and escorted the young man to his door. But before seeing the young man actually leave his house, Mr. Ash had asked the young man like this, "Son, it seems I feel something bad is following you, are you feeling okay?" asked Mr Ash anxiously. The man can feel the evil air that continues to follow Cologne's existence. He thought the young man had just experienced a dangerous 'evil spirit attachment'.

Cologne smiled wryly. "Really, I'm fine. Sir, you don't have to worry," he replied a little nervously. It seemed that Cologne was feeling a little afraid that Mr Ash might find out something he had been deliberately hiding from the man.

Mr. Ash reached into the pocket of his black cloth pants and took out a small bottle of holy water to give to Cologne. "Take this. I hope this thing helps you a bit. And pray often that you will always be protected by God," asked Mr. Ash who was worried about Cologne's condition.

Cologne took the small bottle with some hesitation. He actually wanted to refuse. He thought that even if Mr. Ash tried to protect him in the end it would only end up being a waste because a demon like Berlin would of course never work with using very little amount of holy water.

Smiling after receiving the bottle Mr. Ash gave, Cologne then actually left the house feeling a little uncomfortable in his heart.

"Hey…. " called Berlin who suddenly appeared beside Cologne's body in the form of smoke.

"What?" asked Cologne in a voice that sounded a little curt.

"I think you missed a bit of your itinerary," said Berlin suddenly.

"Don't be so clueless!" replied Cologne nonchalantly.

Even so, Berlin knew that Cologne would either keep trying to ignore him or try not to say more. He knew that Cologne of course would not be able to ignore this one thing.

"You're actually planning to go to Jo's grave aren't you? I know that because I can read your mind. You can't quibble. You are a coward!" quip Berlin.

"Tch… don't interfere!" Cologne held up his middle finger. Now he looks like a lunatic talking to himself. Be thankful the street looks deserted right now, otherwise it's obvious he'll be seen as a weirdo who keeps talking alone along the way.

Berlin laughed, "Hahaha… you idiot. You don't dare come to Jo's grave because you still feel bad for him, do you? Gosh, where is your courage? You look like a pathetic old turkey," Berlin sneered endlessly. That naughty devil would never stop trying to annoy Cologne.

Cologne covered his ears and shouted as if there was a real object in front of him right now, "NOISY SHUT UP YOU FUCK!" shouted Cologne furiously.

"Bah. It seems that this boy's psyche has relapsed," Berlin quipped.

At home

"You want to sleep?" Berlin asked when he found Cologne now neatly dressed in his simple pajamas.

Cologne looked at Berlin with a straight face. "Not now I'm trying a death simulation," he answered casually.

"Oh, then I will willingly help you," said Berlin with pleasure. The shadow then flew the knife towards Cologne.

Cologne snorted in annoyance, "Tsk stop messing around! I want to rest," he said quickly. The young man cleaned his bed first and then climbed up there feeling comfortable. After being comfortable in that position, Cologne suddenly asked Berlin who was now hovering above his head, "Hey, do you think I should just quit the job I have now?"

"You want to be homeless?" Berlin sneers.

"Damn you."

"You're the damn one."

Despite knowing that Berlin would never give a pleasant answer, Cologne still asked the demonic figure.

"Hey," Cologne called.

"What?"

"Do you know the reason why I've been having bad dreams lately?" asked Cologne, who honestly was suspicious of Berlin. The young man thought that the cause of the nightmare he had recently had came from the disturbance of a demonic figure who was staying in his house at the moment.

"I don't know. Maybe it's a sign that soon you'll be sent to hell," Berlin answered nonchalantly.

"Aarrghh ... can you give a slightly reasonable answer?! You are a demon!" shrieked Cologne in frustration. He was annoyed that none of the questions he had asked for Berlin were answered correctly.

Berlin chuckled, "Tsk. If you want to get the right answer, go ask an angel or God! Are you stupid or something? Expecting the right answer from a demonic figure?" Berlin replied no less frustrated with Cologne.

Cologne immediately fell silent and covered his face with the blanket. Secretly he felt ashamed and stupid because what Berlin said was not wrong. If he wanted to hope for the right answer why didn't he just ask God in his prayers?

Berlin exhaled roughly and felt a little frustrated at the ridiculous behavior of Cologne. The demon momentarily felt his intelligence suddenly drop drastically after talking to a strange human like Cologne.

"Damn it why should I get involved with a freak like him?" he groaned annoyed.

"He's a little weird but he's the smartest person I've ever met," said someone who had suddenly appeared before Berlin.

Berlin who heard the voice immediately looked up. And after he managed to see the figure more clearly, Berlin felt even more annoyed. "Why is it only showing up now?" he asked sharply.

The figure is none other than the spirit of Heilige Potsdam or Jo who is a friend of Cologne who has passed away.
