He was about 5'8 foot tall, quite good-looking, not to the extent of making women fall head over heels for him but his appearance can be judged as slightly better than average.

As to what he was doing now, it's a long story let's take our time catching up.

Hailed as one of the brightest minds of the 21st century, an engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, for his ground-breaking advancements within his field.

In 2036, he proposed a thesis titled 'The Living Robot', a robot that could do almost anything a person could do, if not better, and continuously evolve while observing its surroundings.

The field of robotics made a huge breakthrough using his thesis and soon he was contacted by a big corporation named 'Silver Automation' to bring his theory to life. They made a contract with him and heavily funded his research.

He worked with burning passion and shed his blood and tears for five years until, finally, when his dream was just at a hair's breadth away, disaster struck!

The company that had funded his dreams and had supported him till now filed a class-action case on him, claiming he had committed a contract breach and as compensation, they demanded a huge monitory fine. 

Michael, who had always been focused on his research, didn't have much to his name which led him to lose his rights and ownership of his research and to his dream project, all to 'Silver Automation'.

Now as a broken, penniless man, listlessly gazing into the sky, with nothing to his name, Michael contemplated what he could do in his situation?

At first, he thought that as famous as he is, He could easily get a job in another company to make living but he was terribly wrong, not a single company came to him, even the interviews he attended rejected him just hearing his name, he didn't know what was happening? was someone trying to ruin him? he didn't know.

That's when he thought about the infinite lucrative possibilities related to a game released a year ago called 'Genesis', a VRMMORPG which created huge waves across the globe, developed by the players in the world itself. With his passion was now reignited, thinking that if it's so life-like, maybe he could complete his dreams in the game.

"So what if I can't achieve my dreams in real life, I just have to reach it in Virtuality"

and that's how our Engineer, who although didn't have a job was lying down on a VR capsule with a beautiful design of 'Genesis' on it.

'Genesis' is famous for the fact that players can enjoy full immersive gameplay and real-life-like experience, with NPCs being able to communicate with the players and almost as if they could feel emotions.

It has now been a year since its release, though in the beginning, everyone thought of 'Genesis' as a typical RPG game later they realized its unique features and it quickly becomes famous acquiring a total of 1 billion players base worldwide still increasing by the day.

Many people were even making a living due to in-game currency exchange with real-world money.

and as a penniless man, this feature itself is enough for our Jobless Engineer to buy a VR capsule which cost about five thousand dollars!

All he was left after buying the capsule was 10000$ and a small house in the countryside that he inherited from his father. He decided to earn money somehow and start his research in the game, since everyone was praising it as a second reality, it would be possible, right?

Michael wouldn't have pondered this much if he was alone, he could somehow manage with the money he had while doing some odd jobs but now, there was a 'Family' depending on him.

At least to feed them he had to make some money. Of course he could always work as a freelancer, and corns some notes to keep their stomachs full.

But then his dreams would forever remain as dreams only, that was the reason he choose ‘Genesis’

So before starting the game, he wanted to gather some knowledge about the world of 'Genesis', so he opened the official form as he browsed through various information, on which a certain notice which was made three months before caught his eye,

It is now possible for a player to change their class to An Engineer after lv.10 by receiving quests at nearby workshops. the information regarding the 'Engineer' class...

   <Class: - Engineer>

 A profession specialized in science, In the age of sword and magic, only a few will follow this path, which is filled with hard work and effort. This is a character class that relies on technology, and basic abilities including Steampunk or Magi-Tek variety, to achieve ranged controlling effects similar to a wizard. They most likely have guns and bombs as primary weapons and employ stationary and/or mobile machines on the battlefield. (Can only be achieved after a certain mastery is reached)

Michael cried out of surprise seeing the class descriptions.

His exhausted determination and passion ignited again, His eyes sparkled at the description of the class.

"With this, I could, just may be able to achieve my dream"

He looked towards the side of the table where neatly organized sheets and drawings were laid on top of which was labeled,

"The Living Robot"

"I will definitely complete you this time", He smiled seeing the paper as if he was seeing his beloved child,

he scrolled down further as he looked towards reviews,

  -> what is with this class? there are no fighting skills?

  ->Forget about skills, the initial stats are like a glass container everything concentrated on intelligence and dexterity, one hit from even the lv.1 monster is certain death.

  -> I choose the class seeing that this looked cool, but now why is this so hard to grind with this class?

  -> But it says we can steampunk machines and magic technology?

  -> that'd the story when you manage to complete the class quests and let me tell you not a single person has completed the class quest yet, it requires them to make some sci-equipments like guns or bombs without any blueprint to advance to the next quest.

  -> Damn, I choose this class and now I have to wait one week to create a new account.

  -> I already died 3 times to an lv.5 wolf being lv.5 myself, there are not even basic skills like weapon mastery.

"Huh?", There were only negative reviews about the class in the forum almost as if the developers had made a mistake creating this class, but Michael was not concerned about it at all.

"Why the hell is everyone talking about fighting?? Why would an engineer have to fight?"

Yep, Though a genius engineer, he was a complete noob to games.
