My dad or my aunt?

Damn! Decision making is harder than I imagined.

I looked at them carefully, and stealthily to avoid eye contact with them.

I closed my eyes, then a parted smile that comes after dark. You know, a strange feeling was circulating inside me.

For sure, they knew I was lost in thoughts,

"You could choose after you've passed the tests, it's not like I'm forci........"

"I know!" I interrupted my dad who was trying to make it simple for me.

"You know there are other generals also however, I offered to take you in first." Says my aunt.

"Well.....Seems I'll have to decide later. Wait! There are other generals also!" I thought, as my eyeballs rolled from left to right

Woah! That's the most popular general I'm staring at.

Can't believe it, he's the most admired out of all generals.

Wait! I thought they were five, how did they reduce to four?

But that wasn't my major concern. I pointed to the general and asked,

"Who's that", I mumbled.

My dad turned his head around, and on seeing the character, he turns his head back, not saying a word back but I know anytime he makes that facial expression, he isn't happy.

"Oh! You mean that brat?" General Hinata replies.

What? Bra.........is this how they relate with each other, shit! The army is a different realm from reality.

She continues "Suzuki Nazumoto, that......."

Ignoring both of them, I walked up to him.

"He didn't even wait to listen" my dad says in disappointment.

Suzuki Nazumoto, the most popular general in the army, he was admired by everyone. He was 5'8"/172cm tall, with an ochre orange perfectly separated hairstyle, his red and black tattoos from his left shoulder to his wrist because he was wearing a tank top at that moment, was very beautiful to look upon. Even though everyone is a drag, I'm really ready to join his crew.

"Well it's what you admire that will be your mindset" Hinata replied.

As i walked up to him..........

"Don't ever talk to me like that!" He smashes his clenched fist into the cheekbones of one of the freshmen that passed last week tests because, the ones who passed in the first booth/pool were already in the army.

At first, fear descended on me but I summoned some courage, swallowed my saliva, in which my throat responds with a gulp. As I got nearer to him, he turns and grins.

"How may I help you?" He asks.

I stared to the ground and replied him while holding my breath.

"I just came for some scouting sir!" I said with a loud voice.

"Huh?" He says, then smiles at me.

"No need to fret, I was just making myself clear to these people". He says as he taps me in the shoulder.

"Binary!" He shouts

"Yes suh!" Binary echoes

"Take him away!" He echoed "And, the next time you f*£k with me, I'll put you out of your misery".

He gives him a front kick in his diaphragm

Then, Binary ushers(carries) the victim who had already blacked out from the kick that was bestowed by the general.

Binary's 6'2"/187cm tall, very muscular, has a black fringe up hairstyle, that was tinted russet brown at the top.

"Binary should be his own assistant." I said to myself.

This general's..................

"So! You we're saying?" General Nazumoto asks as he turns to my direction.

"Huh?" I was unable to reply him, my mind was probably empty at the moment.

All I was thinking about is that, this guy is surely a dude you can't mess with.

"Errrrrrrrr......." Crap! I was completely speechless.

He touches me on my left shoulder, I didn't even notice that he was touching me, until he talked.

"Speechless huh?". He says as he smirks.

Damn, this is not good.

He continues talking"You know,"

He pauses then resumes again.

"You can't just be calling a whole general without a reason".

Well, haven't I told him already that I'm here to do a little scouting?

"This man is surely something else." I thought to myself.

"Well....... Sir"..

I tried to explain and excuse myself but,

"Now, how do you want to die?" He asks as he walks towards me.

"Eh?"

I know for sure, that I'm no where near him in physical strength but, because of my rigid self, I chose not to cower out in fear.

"Huh?" "Heeeee!", he grins then swings a fierce punch at me.

Thud! That was the sound I heard. I was already prepared to receive the punch, then fall to the floor but I was only feeling the shockwave of the attack, although the wave almost made my heart drop out of my mouth so I shifted back, lowered my body, and I looked up again with genuine phobia, already thinking of how I didn't pass out.

"You surely know how to scare freshmen, don't you?". A light chuckle followed the statement.

"Huh?" I said, as I looked up, only to see General Nazumoto's fists held by Hinata, Dad was already standing at my front, man this is getting real serious......

"Me? I wasn't even doing anything to him"

He looks at me, then stares at my dad.

"Oh! I see......."

"Don't ever lay your hands on my son again, especially in my presence". My dad says

"Oh?" He says in a strange and deceitful manner.

"First I was accused of scaring the fresher's out of their minds, now I'm accused of touching someone else.

Cmon lets be truthful to ourselves.

We already know if I wanted to hit your son or whosoever he might be........." A grin surfaced on his lips.

Tssch, he was so full of himself.

"He would have been on the floor, even before his hometown arrives". He boasts

"Damn you, damn you Nazumoto!" My dad says whether in anger or frustration, that I do not know

Nazumoto continues to rant, and man I already hate this dude. I really thought he was gonna be as cool as his looks but I was wrong, he was probably cold blooded.

Nazumoto replies "Well, well, I was never going to hit him in the first place, I was just testing his reflexes & if you're angry...

*He points at me

....Come and hit me also".

"After all no f*£k!ng general could ever harm me."

He finishes the statement with a wide grin.

"Fool! Don't make me laugh, you invincible? Like the way you got clapped six years ago, even before you ever reached the power level of a general". Hinata says.

"That was years ago" he replies almost immediately.

Damn! I felt so inferior, my eyes was just starting to open to the ways of life, this sucks, can't believe dad's theories on realities was always right, tsscch. I looked at Nazumoto & I promised myself, one day I'll pound my fists into your face.

"Yes you will, you will..." A voice resounded in my mind. Huh? My instincts.... Oh! So not only do I hate you but my instincts also, you're so unlucky general Nazumoto.

"Son! Don't mind his words this is the way things are in the army, every man for him or herself"

Tssch, all I was concerned about was, I knew I've failed in a million instances but, I was never aware that I was this weak.

"Okay, okay, that's enough!" A gentle voice says.

Woah! It was Minamino, the general of the army. I bowed down humbly in respect, and he permitted me to be excused, I left the placed that was already filled with climax.

"You know we can't be acting like kids in front of the freshmen." Minamino says.

"We're sorry sir" All the generals echoed.

"Hmph! You're so dramatic" Hinata says to Nazumoto as she walks away.

"Whatever, I'm stronger than before and also, you're looking so good today" he replies.

"Yeah! That's the attitude of yours that we like". Dad says as he taps him in the back.

"So....... It's time, all soldiers should be assembled for the trials" Minamino says as he whispers few things to some random soldiers who followed him, they we're three in numbers.

"Yes sir!!!" They echoed in unison.

Soon everyone were focused on getting ready for the trials, man I'm starting to feel tensed.

Man what a drag! Isn't there an option to skip this trials, arrrggh!

General Hinata walks towards me...........

"The trials are starting now, go to the eastern side of the forest, that's were all participants will meet, don't let me down alright, I'll try watching through the CCTV footage. *Closed circuit television*" She says.

"I'll try my best." I said almost in a whispering manner.

Man! I'm getting along with her so easily.

Huff! So I'm really getting closer to people. Damn! I need to focus on my trials.

"Don't return with no glory son! I know you'll floor the test"

"Huh? I don't think the statement was corre....."

"Are you trying to prove me wrong" He interrupts.

"No, never mind I'll be on my way". I replied.

"What a drag! So pesky!" I mumbled to myself as I set off for the Northern side of the forest.

Wait! Where the hell is the geographical zone named north; Sh*t! I was terrible at geography.

"We'll start with the practicals first, before we commence to the written.

"If you fail the practicals you go home!".

The warrant officer cried.

My Gosh! He's good at yelling I thought........

I looked up and saw General Minamino & General Nazumoto.

I sighed as I stared at Nazumoto, he was always smirking, smiling, or grinning.

It makes me to always feel like driving through his face with a punch, but I dare not, he'll pummel me because he's a general, and I'm way, way, far from beating him.

Hmmmn! So I'll have to be all ears & listen to the instruc............

"Start!" The warrant officer shouts.

Wait! The information has been passed to us, I was so deep in thoughts, that I paid no attention.

I saw everyone running in the same direction so I decided to tag along

(go with the flow). Crap! I don't know what I'll do now or I've I failed even before the tests begun?

Tssch, different imaginations flowed through my mindset as I ran into the forest with seventy four thousand & ninety others who we're running as fast as they could.

The real test has begun..... I said to myself.
