New Problem

Since her mother died, things have changed dramatically. Ernest had to work harder, take care of the house, and obey his father's wishes.

Every day Ernest had to be able to contain his emotions in order not to commit an act of evil against his father. He repeatedly felt the pain of being tortured by his father over trivial matters.

It's been a week since his mother died. Ernest daydreamed a lot. Thinking about all the future Ernest must be put off to finance his life as well as his father's.

Ernest is at work right now. At a company that accepted him working as a staff member even though he was just a high school graduate. Ernest was grateful that the salary could be enough for his daily life and other needs.

He also found a good girl at his workplace named Hellen. She's a girl who works in staff accounting. Their first meeting came immediately after they had spoken together.

As time passed, Ernest finally worked at the place. Every payday, Ernest would visit his mother's grave and buy her flowers. It's still obvious that his mother's departure hasn't been able to let him go wholeheartedly.

Yet, happiness does not always seem to take sides with him. In the last month, he did feel happy because his father seemed to be working too. Several times, he buys good food for dinner together and Ernest slowly forgets his dark past.

However, the events of that night brought Ernest's grudge back to the surface. At that time, Ernest had just returned from work. However, he did not find the father there. While waiting, he ordered food from the app to be delivered to her home. He forgot didn't buy it on his way home.

Suddenly, someone came in from the door and knocked on the door repeatedly. Ernest rushed to his door and saw the father come home drunk.

"Dad, are you drunk again, huh?" Ernest said annoyedly.

"Hehe, I only drank a little. After I was sad about losing the gambling tonight, so I chose to drink. Oh yeah, would you pay my debt to my friend?" Lewis asked with a heavy hangover and he didn't realize what he just said.

"So you've been lying to me all this time?! Fuck you son of a bitch!" Ernest exclaimed emotionally and pushed his father to the ground.

Ernest left the father at the door. He was lazy to carry the burden into the house. Ernest doesn't know how much he owed his friend. Suddenly, Lewis wakes up and carries a vase into his closet not far from the door. And without Ernest knowing, Lewis hit Ernest's head with it.

 PYAR!!!

The vase broke on Ernest's head and Ernest's head blood out. The man groaned in pain because of a huge wound on his head over his own father's actions. Lewis looked at him with a fierce look and a boisterous chest.

"You dare now refuse my request, huh?! You useless son of a bitch!" exclaimed Lewis, who then trampled Ernest and beat him.

Ernest can only shut up. Holding back the pain he felt. That night, Ernest won't forget it. Where he had to go back to holding everything alone again.

After being satisfied, Lewis left Ernest in pain. Ernest tried to get up, he walked out of the house, and tried to ask his neighbors for help. He couldn't walk at all, just a few steps away from his neighbor's house. He collapsed and lay on the street alone.

After a while, a police car on patrol found Ernest lying on the street. They immediately went downstairs and helped Ernest take him to the hospital so that he could be treated immediately.

  - The Game Of Death -

Ernest woke up from his unconscious. He tries to open his eyes slowly and sees the surrounding conditions if he's in the hospital right now. He tried to stand up, but his head was so dizzy and he lay back again.

Suddenly, two policemen came into the room. What's going on? Why are there cops all of a sudden? The feeling he didn't do anything wrong. What got him to these two cops?

"Are you awake? Thank God, we found you in the middle of the street last night while we were on patrol. We saw that the wound on your head was very bad and we decided to bring you here," said one of the police officers who was a little fat compared to the police next to him.

"Oh, thank you so much, Sir," answered Ernest.

"You're welcome. But, may we know what kind of problem you are having? Maybe we can solve your problem completely," said one of the police members who are on the left of the slightly fat police. They look a little different in their clothes.

"No need, sir. It was just a small accident. I seemed sleepy and fell there. Thank you for kindly helping me," Ernest replied trying to cover up his serious personal problems.

The two policemen looked at each other. They felt that the answer Ernest had given them was so freak. But they don't want to ask for someone's privacy. And they just went back to asking if Ernest was sure of his decision or not.

"Are you sure?" ask policemen who were little fat more than the policemen at the left.

"I'm sure, sir. There's no serious problem. I'm very grateful. You can also go back to work, I'm afraid my existence will hinder your duties," Ernest advised.

The two policemen could only nod and agree with Ernest's will. They also said goodbye and didn't forget they said that the hospital expenses had been borne. How nice of the cops to help him. Ernest could only sigh a long time after the policeman left, he was now alone in this room and thinking about the new problems that he has to face now. He's tired of this. He wants a new life.
