The Old Mrs. Jones told Rosalie to attend the birthday party of Linda, the daughter of Uncle Mason.

When Dallas was driving Rosalie to the party, Rosalie said, “I know the reason Granny wants us to attend the party. She wants the criminal to kill us so that my position will be given to Linda.”

“Whatever she thinks, I will allow no man to hurt my wife,” Dallas said. “And that could not be the reason she wants us to attend Linda’s party.”

Rosalie didn’t respond to him. Then she remembered she didn’t have a gift to give Linda for her birthday.

“Stop the car, Dallas,” she said. “We must take a gift for Linda. Gush. They would criticize us.”

“What do you want to buy for them?”

Rosalie sighed in exhaust. She didn’t have enough money to buy a special gift. She almost cursed Dallas for being poor, but had to control her emotions because she loves him so much.
