First of Ladies

Jazz music played solemnly within the large restaurant. The workers were ecstatic and the foods were great.

Female meal servers dressed in outfits that would make a man go hungry. They strode around flawlessly, working for their pay in a spectacular fashion.

Around a table sat two men with black glasses hanging from their faces, disguising them from possible recognition. Their meals were untouched, but one could not say the same for their drinks.

Hermes poured another glass and sipped gently with frustration hiding behind his eyes.

"Could she have changed her plans?" He uttered to his companion seated before him.

"Nah. I doubt". The man responded, "Dan never makes a mistake. Even if he does, the chances are one in a hundred."

"Can't take those chances." Hermes dropped the glass and looked around.

Just behind the farthest window from them, on the opposite side of the road, Tracy waved at him from inside the car. The big guy was also in the car, they were smoking some stuff.
