The Battle

Gasps of shock filled the air as confusion and surprise flashed in everyone’s faces.

“What is going on?” Massie asked as she visibly gripped her newly wedded husband’s hand tightly.

Mr Thorne seemed to be unsure at first before realization struck on him. “Babe. Do you trust me?”

Massie stared up at him, eyes full of confusion. “Yes.. yes I do.” She said stuttering.

“Good. I need you to go back to our wedding field and stand at the pulpit. Don’t turn your back until you’re there. Don’t leave until I’m back.” He whispered in a rush. His eyes visibly begged her to listen to him.

She nodded even though she looked unsure. She turned to leave, grabbing her flowing wedding gown in her hand, she headed back to the field.

As soon as she left, the wedding guests followed suit scattering around, leaving the scene.

Ajax got to find out that most of them were hired people. Thorne and Massie had little no friends and they did not want the seats to me empty, so they hired people.
