DUNGEON CONQUEROR SYSTEM: I transmigrated into a Mosquito
Author: Prince Clover
A kiss of death

Isaac March was a person with average height and down-graded looks. His messy, disheveled curly hair explained when he had time to wash and clean himself. His pair of eye-glass, which reflected images from the object he was busying from, was round and big.

Isaac was currently trying to finish collecting the information he was gathering through Dark web before he would send it to his client, and he could finally entertain himself afterward.

His pair of hands were moving faster than anyone could comprehend as the clicking sounds emitted from his keyboard echoed in the quiet, tranquil apartment. Eventually, a finger collided with a keycap as it was the final movement before his pair of hands halted. Slowly, he moved his right hand and reached out on his mouse before moving slightly, clicking the right click while smiling in glee afterward.

‘Finally! I can now continue watching the last episode of the Great Remaru!’

He exclaimed in his thoughts as his mind wandered to the last episode he watched before he had to gather the information reluctantly. He felt resentment toward the client who rushed it when he could have acted for it after he watched the last episode.

What happened in the last episode was clearly a cliffhanger and suspense, as he didn’t know if Remaru survived from the antagonist's strongest trump card. Although he was aware Remaru was practically invincible, and as a main character of the story, it was also impossible for him to die. He still feel uncomfortable completing the assignment given to him, as his curiosity was itching for the ending.

Despite the information he gathered was shocking and surprising, he was calm and collected as he continued to gather the information without much thought.

‘There might be gang wars about to happen at any minute. Well, as long as they wouldn’t disturb me, and seeing the location was far away from mine. I couldn’t bother to worry about my safety. First, I needed to watch the last episode before dying in curiosity.’

He glanced at the bottom right corner of his monitor and realized he spent almost four hours gathering information. It was hard for him after all, since, despite the enormous money he received, his job was dangerous as he was practically invading others’ privacy.

Isaac’s right hand sticking on the mouse moved as he clicked many times before typing on his keyboard again and clicking on his mouse afterward. His monitor then displayed the opening of the last episode, which took 90 seconds, but Isaac did not dare to skip it.

As an anime enthusiast, he simply loved watching anime, but he also respected, admired, as well as feeling grateful for the people who worked to create such a beautiful piece of art. Hence, he did not think of watching pirated sites and simply buying the premium membership of their legal sites.

While the opening was finally reaching its end, Isaac wiped the tears threatening to crawl out on his eyelid. His lower limbs, which were protected by the pajama in the cold from the air conditioner, moved and tangled each other before his balls.

He leaned his back on his gaming chair, resting before continuing to watch the last episode of the Great Remaru anime.

At the same time, five kilometers away from Isaac’s apartment. A girl, who was completely covered with black suits, anxiously watched forward before her laptop. In the run-down building, which was covered with bullet holes and empty furniture, she rested her butt on the rugged, dusty, cemented ground.

The mask concealed her face, and her appearance or even her age couldn’t be known. Looking at the laptop without even doing anything, she bit her thumb from the lack of patience and anxiety.

“He is so slow! How could he claim himself as a renowned number 1 information gatherer if he is this slow? No one knows him, and no one knows his appearance and location cause if I know, I might have strangled him to death!”

Angela Wilson, known for being the mischievous daughter of the publicly claimed number one mafia, was currently doing something dangerous but considered it just for fun. She wanted to steal a precious artifact once told by his father, which was now owned by his father’s rival. Although his father expresses his desire to own that artifact, he told his daughter he would steal it one day.

Later he realized he brought his daughter in jeopardy.

Angela was aware she would be scolded and might be grounded from entertainment for a single month, but she couldn’t care about it when she was about to execute her playful plan.

In the end, Isaac sends her a message as her mask moves, indicating she was having a wide grin on her face. She couldn’t be more exhilarated than this, as she did not dill-dally more and read the content. The content was very precise, concise, direct, and well-structured, which amazed her.

‘It doesn’t seem confusing at all!’

Angela continued to browse the content, and the more she read, the more she was amazed, to the point she had her mouth and eyes agape, flabbergasted.

“H-How could it be! Just how amazing is he to know the exact, precise location? He even warned me about the possible traps and give me the right direction to steal the object!

Is he even aware of the item I’m about to steal?!”

Sadly, Isaac could not get access to the information about the object, which Angela was about to steal. Isaac was even surprised that he could not breach the wall preventing him from knowing the object, but since it was not his business. He gave up knowing about it.

‘Heh. So what if he is? Can he even try to step out from his hiding place though?”

She sneered and continued reading the context many times before folding the laptop. She closed her eyes for a minute before reaching the conclusion after devising her plan a bit.

‘Thankfully, the information was worth the money. It even makes my plan easier to execute.’

She thought before walking to the rooftop and enjoying the cooling breeze while gazing at the direction in which her target was situated.

“Ah! It’s done!”

Isaac exclaimed as he had a smile filled with emotions painted on his face. It might have been regretful that the favorite anime he had been watching since the first episode was released was now playing its ending.

The memories together with the Journey of Remaru, as a lesser slime through becoming a God or supreme deity, would not be forgotten and would always remain at his core memory and heart.

Isaac remained seated for a while before deciding to play the game. It was also a based-dungeon game, but it did not focus on kingdom building, but rather, conquering dungeons.

Isaac loved the game deeply, as was evident from the game time in his history and the level of his character along the numerous dungeon he conquered. Conquering the dungeon made him feel forgotten about the outside world. And despite living alone with no one to care for him. The pet, the friend he made, and the NPC he treated as an actual human being made him feel alive.

“I should evolve my pet slime and make him a God!”

Isaac giggled at his nonsense comment before looking at the pet collection he had. Clicking at the image of a red slime, with a Remaru name on top of it. He silently watched it for a while before deciding to evolve it with his limited resources.

“It’s worth it.”

Some say happiness was worth more than money, and thus Isaac did not hesitate to spend almost a million dollars to upgrade Remaru to become a God.

“Should I try conquering the dungeon, which was considered the world’s largest dungeon in the game, together with Remaru?”

Before Isaac could even decide, an explosion rang out from outside, and Isaac’s current building he stayed shook lightly.

“What a large explosion! Was it a nuclear bomb?”

He joked lightly before focusing on the game. He had this belief if he died, then he died, “It is what it is.” So uncaring about his life, he equipped Remaru as his main pet and clicked the map, teleporting his character and Remaru to a particular place.

Knock! Knock!

Suddenly, an urgent knock interrupted him. His face frowned as he could still hear the urgent knocking sound. Looking at his monitor, realizing he did not enter the dungeon yet. He decided to walk to his door, gazing at the small hole at the door.

He saw in a circular image on the other side of the door a beautiful young woman fainting at the door, where the room was only before him. It turned out that when he did not open the door immediately, the girl desperately knocked on the other’s door, but she fainted in front of it.

‘Why was she covered with blood?’

Isaac wondered, and hesitation appeared in his thoughts. Should he help her or not? The question continued to revolve around Isaac’s head, before deciding to open the door, looking at the hallway left and right.

He saw no one as it was completely quiet and empty. He knew he could only be the one to help the girl, thus he grabbed the girl’s body and closed the door after checking no one saw him.

Due to who knows when he had exercised himself, he could not carry the girl’s body, and thus he could only grab her armpit, pulling it inside his room. The girl’s blood immediately left a blood trace on the floor, but Isaac was not worried about it.

Because he was shocked to find out the girl’s identity after he pulled out her mask. The girl who had been lying on his bed before him, which was covered with blood and might have been affected by the Gang wars he predicted, was actually his client.

Countless scenarios appeared in Isaac’s head, and he concluded that the girl, his client, might be the cause of the Gang wars he was talking about earlier. Of course, he investigated his client’s background and knew that the girl’s background was nothing ordinary.

It was also one of the reasons why he accepted his request, knowing the girl was a spoiled child and might recklessly offer money that was already beyond what he usually proposed.

“What should I do?”

He then remembered how to do first aid when he was in high school. First, he reached out to her wrist, looking for her pulse. He heaved a sigh of relief when he felt the pulse vibrate, meaning her life was in no danger. However, he realized the rhythm of her pulse was slow.

“Ah! I should first check her wound.”

His face reddened when his skin met the girl’s smooth skin. He had not been interacting face to face with someone, much less touching their skin for almost a decade. Therefore, his face couldn’t help but heat up as he tried to calm down her little brother below.

“Her thigh was grazed by a bullet!

She is really careless. It was only a small wound, but because of her jeans placed pressure on her wounds, making the blood flow out exponentially.”

Isaac immediately reached out for a t-shirt in his drawer, as he could not use the t-shirt he wore, for it had not been changed since a week ago. He was sensible enough not to use the t-shirt that might have been covered with pathogenic bacteria.

After Isaac stopped the blood coming out from Angela’s wound with his t-shirt. He tried to determine Angela’s breathing when he realized she had shallow breathing. He then realized shortly that Angela might have not fainted due to the wound, but because of the lack of oxygen to her brain, thus the cause of her fainting.

He then looked at her mask and facepalm as he realized how dumb Angela was.

“This girl…”

Isaac shook his head lightly as he tried to look at his room and opened the window for some fresh air. He then thought of doing resuscitation for Angela and decided to perform it for her.

His face reddened again when he saw the milky white skin on Angela’s chest, as when he saw Angela’s breast about to be exposed. He immediately pulled her shirt upward, and his face heated up to the point his blood might be boiling in the veins on his forehead.

Phew!

Isaac took a deep breath to calm himself as he placed his pair of hands atop each other on Angela’s chest and decided to perform the respiration. Slowly, he could feel Angela’s breath turning normal, feeling through his hand the air coming out of Angela’s nose. Isaac was delighted and was about to stop when he felt something that made him frozen on the spot.

He immediately placed his fingers before Angela’s nose and was panic-stricken when he perceived her breathing stop.

“What should I do?”

Isaac remembered another respiration resuscitation, which might revive Angela’s breathing. Although, feeling his face reddened up again, he had no choice because he didn't need to waste time hesitating. Hence, he closed his eyes and slowly reached for Angela’s lips.

It was soft and fluffy. Isaac immediately felt he was having a boner, but before he could even perform the resuscitation, he felt a sudden slap of air on his cheeks. He froze on the spot and immediately looked at Angela’s face, who looked at him with a fierce and vengeful expression.

“H-Hi?”

He tried to ease the awkward atmosphere when Angela’s eyes moved and looked toward his chest. He subconsciously looked below him and saw Angela’s hands one inch away from his chest. After a moment of scrutinizing, he realized Angela was grabbing hold of something and looking through her finger's gap. He knew it was the hilt of a sharp weapon.

His eyes moved slightly and saw his chest covered with blood. He felt it was hard to breathe as his mind muddled, and he could faint at any second. He coughed out blood.

It did not take him for a moment to be confused and knew immediately that Angela murdered him.

“B-But I saved you… It was my first kiss too…”

That was his last word before he fell to the ground as his t-shirt was dampened with overflowing blood. He looked at the ceiling as his life flashed before his eyes. However, there were no regrets since there was no one would mourn for him. Hence, he was happy… but felt sad at the same time.

“If I only have another chance… Where I was born in a world filled with magic and fantasy… I will live my life to the fullest…”

He murmured gently while a desire flashed before his eyes.

“Serves you right! Taking advantage of me?”

Angela’s voice echoed in his ears but paid no attention to it. He did not need to explain himself since he was already dead. A dead man tells no tales. In addition, he did not need a reason to help someone in need. Though, he benefited from it greatly since he was not a complete virgin before he died.

The last kiss was more worth it when it came from the publicly beautiful girl on Earth, Angela, the precious daughter of the number 1 boss mafia.

“Hump!”

Angela hastily wiped her lips with her hands desperately as she tried to forget the unpleasant memories recently happened. But alas, no matter what she thought to distract her thinking, it would still appear.

“You deserve to die!”

Angela kicked Isaac’s body whose eyes were slowly closing. Angela enjoyed the moment, as she suddenly froze on the spot. She immediately reached out for her pocket as her heart throbbed from nervousness.

Her hands were shaking from the realization of losing the object she treasured. After all, it was a great achievement to steal something his father considered precious, and now she lost it. She almost cried as she suddenly rummaged Isaac’s body and realized the object wasn’t in it.

However, she failed to realize that the object was on Isaac’s body but it disappeared before she looked for it.
