Chapter 46
When Laura got home, she went straight to her room but was surprised to see the room out of light when she opened the door. She wondered why there was light in the house apart from the room.

She groped with her hand against the wall in search of the light switch and heaved a light sigh when she felt the switch. Sve flicked it on and was thrown off balance when Feran held up a cute little teddy bear in front of her face.

"Feran, what the…" Laura paused as she read the inscription on the frontal of the teddy bear and she read it out:

" 'I am sorry?' " Feran nodded with a pout like an innocent child that had wronged his mother. "What's all this, Feran?" Laura asked, folding her hands and rolling her eyes to the bed.

"I'm truly sorry, Laura," Feran uttered.

Laura squinted and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Sorry about what now, Feran?" Laura asked.

"For upsetting you last night and I am sorry about the other ways which you think I've offended you," Feran said.

" 'Other ways?'
