“Hunter, you didn’t say you were coming; what a surprise,” Zafron exclaimed while looking at Hunter, who seemed very tired, “How’s your day?” he asked.

“I have something to ask, dad,” the seriousness in Hunter’s voice made Zafro frown; he put down his newspaper and turned to Hunter.

“Have a sit first, son,” Zafron said, “What is it that you wanted to ask?”

“What’s the real reason for mom’s death?” Hunter felt a thorn in his throat upon saying that.

Zafron didn’t even look shocked about the question; he was expecting it; someday, his son would discover the death of his mother, “I see, you discovered about it,”

Hunter gave his father a look of disbelief, and he felt betrayed, “So, you knew all along?!”

Zafron sighed and nodded, “Yes, but I can’t do anything; that family was yours, to begin with. I gave you the authority to take your revenge, son. Since the time you told me you will be pursuing the young Pritt, I can’t do anything; seeing you smile like that made me realize it wasn’
