Shrugging his shoulders, Liuxian turned in his sleep lying on his back. He didn't want to wake up. The soft feel of his bed made him groan in pleasure. However, they weren't going to allow him continue sleeping. The hard sound and the intense pain that it him after his body hit the ground was enough to wake him up.

“Ouch! Did you have to…” Liuxian stopped as he realized that he was still alive.

Standing to his feet, Liuxian rushed entering the bathroom and closing the door. His action shocked everyone leaving them confused.

“Liuxian." Liuxian heard someone calm his name.

“Yes? I'll come out immediately I am done taking my bath." Liuxian shouted as he quickly searched his body for the Liquor of Desire anxiously.

Instead, all the badges he had collected was on his body. One tied from his left shoulder down and the other was tied from his right shoulder. Coming out of the bathroom, Liuxian checked making sure that there was no one in the room. From the looks of it, he had to share the room with three more people. Sighing as he sat on the bed, Liuxian stared through the window thinking when he suddenly remebered.

“The Liquor of Desire! Where is it? Where is it? Did he actually take it from me?” Liuxian asked as he searched around his bed looking for the liquor bottle.

After searching and searching, Liuxian finally found the Liquor of Desire. There was still little left making Liuxian happy. Opening it quickly, Liuxian drank it all down and found himself in a fantasy world. This was his first time coming here. Back in the forest, he had not seen anything. Was it because of the Cursed Voice of Illusions?

The place looked so real. He was obviously in an open space cultivation room yet there were books all around him. The bookshelf was long curving up till it reached the sky. Looking around, Liuxian went to sit down curving his legs.

“Look. I have all 400 badges here. Has my task been completed?” Liuxian asked.

“ And by how many levels would my powers go up? Will I become powerful?” Liuxian asked.

“Of course I want to read the instructions. I didn't have the time to do so in the forest earlier so it's best I read it now. Yes.” Liuxian said.

[Each level is filled with designated tasks that need to be fulfilled within the time limits. Failure to do so will lead to you falling down by a level hence meeting a drawback. There is an option not to do so but beware that you will have been more dangerous tasks to fulfill. Rewards are given after the tasks are completed and the power in the liquors arethen used to help you increase any of your attributes. You have a one chance to start all over again but then, you will all progress made. From Level 2, it is mandated you earn Phoenix Coins to increase your attributes. Normal liquor will show you tasks need you do to gain Phoenix Coins while Divine Liquor helps you level up.]

“ Attributes? It has never been known that one can have so many attributes. Is it really possible that all my attributes will be increased?” Liuxian asked.

Suddenly, a scroll appeared in front of him showing the four attributes. Core strength, Combat preception, Intelligence and Magic. These were all the attributes possessed by different clans. Protectors possessed Core strength as an attribute and could only work towards building their core strength. The more powerful their core strength got, the more powerful their powers got.

“Of course I want to increase my Core strength. It would be suspicious if I increased my Magic or Intelligence when I am a protector. Also, how do I earn Phoenix Coins?” Liuxian asked.

“5 hours?" Liuxian asked shouting on the top of his lungs when suddenly, he heard someone knocking on the door.

He had already forgotten about the roll call that was supposed to take place. Coming out of his trance, Liuxian headed to open the door..

“ You guys are?” Liuxian asked as he looked at the three people standing in front of him. What caught his attention was actually the girl standing with them.

“Oh, you were sleeping when we left. Don't worry. We already helped you answer your name at the arena. I am Sun Dan. And these are Yang Jie and Tian Yin. We are all your roommates.” Liuxian heard Sun Dan say as she stepped inside forcing him to give her space.

The room was indeed big enough for four people. Each bed was arranged at the four corners of the room with curtains covering them. Liuxian guessed it was for Sun Dan's privacy.

“We are all roommates now. We should introduce ourselves. I am Yang Jie and I am a Marksman, Tian Yin is a Mage and our lovely Sun Dan is a Scholar.” Liuxian heard Yang Jie say making him look at Sun Dan.

Scholars were often very quiet and didn't like to mingle with anyone. Meeting a scholar who was so energetic was hard to see.

“I am Liuxian. I am a protector. I'm guessing that's how they chose the arrangements. One from each clan in a room. Well, nice to meet you all." Liuxian said nodding his head as he tried returning back to his bed.

“ Since we have all introduced each other, let's all have meals together. I’m a great cook but it's okay if you want to still have the school meal. I hear it isn't very good. The students that had it today, all had food poisoning.” Sun Dan said.

“I'm okay with it. Tian Yin?” Liuxian heard Yang Jie ask.

Tian Yin nodded his head shrugging his shoulders as he went to sit on his bed leaving him. Looking around, Liuxian saw Sun Dan and Yang Jie looking at him.

“I'm also okay with it." Liuxian said.

" Yay! Then it's settled. Let's all prepare and head for class. I call dips on the bathroom first!” Liuxian heard Sun Dan say as she rushed into the bathroom excitedly leaving Yang Jie and Tian Yin to complain.

It was none to every man that women took the most time bathing and changing. By the time Sun Dan came out, they were already late. Nevertheless, the rest of them quickly got in taking their baths before changing. Wearing his uniform, Liuxian came out combing his hair when he saw Sun Dan tying her hair up. Sun Dan was indeed beautiful.

“ What are you doing? Let's head to class.” Liuxian heard Tian Yin say.

Arriving at the class, Liuxian stopped gasping as he saw the classroom. The designs, the wood, everything looked expensive. Walking inside the hall, Liuxian looked at the desks and chairs that were arranged neatly in a straight line. And on each desk, there was a wooden stick with their name carved on it.

Each of the classes were divided according to your clan and powers so Liuxian and his roommates had split up and each one went to into their class.

“First, let's test out your core strength. I heard that this time, a lot of you people couldn't find your student badges because you couldn't withstand the tribulations set in the Shadowfall forest. I thought that most of you people would. It just shows how weak you people are.” Liuxian heard the teacher say but turned his face looking through the window.

Reaching into his pocket, Liuxian felt something hard which caught his attention. Bringing it out, Liuxian saw a jade pendant in his pocket.

“What is this?” Liuxian asked looking at the green Jade pendant he had found.

The Jade pendant was obviously made from the highest quality of jade. The soft texture also showed it was made from a good craftsman.

“Let's test your core strength. One by one come and place your hand on this wall right here. Your powers will be tested and the results will come out. This way, we can see your strengths and how to improve your skills.” Liuxian heard the teacher say and his worst nightmares suddenly started to happen before his two eyes again.

Ever since he was born, his core strength her been very low. No matter what technique they used or no matter what they tried to teach him, it never increased. His friends and distant relatives had always laughed at him. If his powers were revealed in front of the school , things would certainly get worse and he would be embarrassed throughout his stay here.

“Sir, excuse me. Can I use the bathroom?” Liuxian asked raising his hand

“You can leave but make sure you return immediately." Liuxian heard his teacher say and immediately stood up running to leave the class.

But Liuxian didn't go to the bathroom as he had said. Running behind one of the buildings, Liuxian sighed. He couldn't run from the clas forever and he couldn't go back either to get shamed. Remembering the Jade pendant he had seen earlier, Liuxian brought it out thinking it was connected to the voice that had given him the tasks before. Using little of his powers, Liuxian watched as the Jade pendant sparkled.

“What is happening?" Liuxian asked horrified as he covered the Jade pendant up with his hand trying to hide the bright light that was radiating from it.

Meanwhile, Peng Chen was walking in the forest when he suddenly saw his jade pendant shining. Stopping in his tracks, Peng Chen looked back at the man that was accompanying him.

“ Go back and don't do anything." Peng Chen said before using his Qinggong skills to fly up I to the sky.

Liuxian became even more worried as he had tried everything and yet the light from the Jade pendant had not faded. He knew that at this rate, he might get caught by one of the teachers or the senior students that patrolled around the academy. Having no other option, Liuxian bent down trying to bury the Jade pendant in the ground.

“Just what do you think you are doing?” Liuxian heard a voice ask but didn't pay attention answering causally.

“ I am trying to bury this jade pendant before I get caught. Why is it shinning so brightly?” Liuxian asked making Peng Chen roll his eyes.

Using his powers, Peng Chen collected the Jade pendant from Liuxian's hand gaining his attention. Shaking his head, Peng Chen made the Jade pendant stop shinning.

“ You good for nothing. Cannot even do as little as to stop a jade pendant from shinning.” Peng Chen said.

“I don't know the reason it's shinning. How am I supposed to make it stop? Wait. What are you doing here?” Liuxian asked before looking at the Jade pendant.

It was then he immediately knew. The Jade pendant had summoned Peng Chen in their school. But Enchanting Void was not just a place anyone could easily come and go. The mystical field guarding the school was very powerful and not many could enter.

“ Here. I brought you this. I think you might need it.” Liuxian heard Peng Chen say as he handed him some bottles.

Collecting it, Liuxian smiled shaking it. It was bottle of liquors. Although they were not divine liquors made from the heavenly gods and buried in the lower realm, normal liquor tasted just as great.

“ Wait. Where am I supposed to hide them? I still have 3 hours to go? I could have easily left the school to go and get them. Classes are commencing right now. I can get caught.” Liuxian said.

“That’s your business and not mine. Why should I care about it?” Peng Chen asked as he was about to leave when he felt Liuxian stop him.

“ I need your help.” Liuxian said.
