Lucas stood by the entrance of the room, contemplating on if going outside would be a good idea or a bad one.

On one hand, he wanted to go out to defend Ivy, because he always hated it whenever her mother was talking to her the way she was doing now, it always made Ivy feel bad…even though she was hardly ever at fault.

But on the other hand, he wasn't sure if he wanted her to know he was awake just yet, letting everyone think he was still unconscious might be an advantage to them.

After almost ten minutes of waiting impatiently, and occasionally pacing around, he finally decided to let Ivy deal with the issue herself.

Ever since they were younger, Ivy didn't like standing up to her mother, so he always did it for her, it didn't matter that he would be punished for it.

He could remember when he was sixteen, Blanche was throwing Ivy a party for her fourteen years birthday and she wanted to decorate her up to her taste…of course Ivy didn't want to but, she couldn't voice out her complain
