THE FRANCO MANSION

Grabbing his daughter into his arms, Jake patted her head as he hugged her. His daughter crying in front of him was the worst punishment anyone could give him and he didn't like it.

“Juliet, where is your mother? Did you come alone?” Jake asked as he looked at his daughter's face helping her clean her tears off.

“ I ran away from school. Is it true? You are going to marry another woman and then, our family won't be complete? Grandfather said he was going to send me off to an orphanage if you didn't come back." Jake heard Juliet say making him scoff as he looked at her.

It was a monstrous thing to do. The fact that Abraham told such a thing to an 11 year old girl made his heart break from the cruelty. It was okay if they didn't like him. He had always discriminated against him and that was fine. He was able to bear it all. But his own granddaughter. How could he be so cruel to his own granddaughter?
