A sublime love, Chapter 11

It strikes eight fifty minutes and the inspector is on his way to the apartment of Bénédicte, Aliyan's secretary, with a few policemen.

While the inspector and the police are on their way, Bendis is downstairs from Bénédicte's building and sees her gun again while wondering if it is the right thing to do. She then puts her gun away after so much thought and makes her entrance. She climbs the stairs one by one while saying her prayers. She hadn't given up on the idea of killing her, but she also wanted to know what her brother Yannick had to offer Bénédicte so that she could betray her brother.

Meanwhile Bénédicte is calmly patient Yannick while he is just at the bottom of the building watching the police surround the building and others who enter the building. The doorbell has just rung and Bénédicte runs to arrange her night pajamas to stay in the very attractive short spun dress she got to make Yannick fall in love. She had already opened the door when the inspector said "it's the police" and before she tried to close it in fear the inspector blocked the door with his foot and pushed her. Being weaker, Bénédicte lets go and the inspector puts her under arrest. Being far away and seeing her being boarded by the police and framed on both sides as a thief or a murderer Yannick calls on his best anonymous lawyer to whom he entrusts the shady jobs against a fortune to get her out of there and as soon as possible .

A few minutes later, the police and the inspector arrived at the police station with Bénédicte and there is the lawyer who was already waiting for them, which the inspector did not know. The lawyer introduced himself and with a keyword like "redemptor" Bénédicte understood that it was from Yannick and she accepted saying that he was her lawyer. Which seemed odd to the inspector but he kept his silence and proceeded with the protocol. Later Bénédicte was released because the fact that the murderer of the woman whom Aliyan was said to have murdered was called her does not mean that she is at the origin of things and that she has something to do. see in there even if there is a very small suspicion. They blamed everything on the man who spoke to the woman at the party.

Aliyan is later released around midnight and on his way out he comes across Bendis who is glued to his car waiting for him patiently.

- Who do I see there? Wouldn't that be cute Bendis? The one who makes my being beat.

- Just a moment ago, my hands would be full of blood if the police hadn't intervened so soon or if I hadn't taken the time to think about your good and ours.

- It's good you didn't. Come into my arms, I missed her lips so much.

- I had mostly wondered if it was love that was going to drive me crazy and murderous or if it was I who was going to make love guilty.

- You know what ? I believe I need a good bath and I especially believe that we must take it together to have more good if only for this night.

- And I say you're right. (she says excitedly)

He was about to leave the front of the police station, Aliyan had put Bendis in the car and he was also going when he saw this man.

- So ? I told you you had my word, didn't I?

- Yes, and you have proven it. It's been a long time since I've had this loyalty to myself.

- And we should never underestimate the human because it can bring us a lot of good but it has been evil incarnate since the dawn of time.

The man leaves without another word and Aliyan does the same. He joined Bendis who was patiently waiting for him and they went home.

Yannick's father Mr. Wilfried for his part has just learned bad news from his policemen. His police men working for him have just let him know that the inspector is investigating his son Yannick because he suspects he has something to do with the young woman's murder case.

Mr Wilfried is so surprised when he learns that he quickly contacted his son Yannick to ask him if it was true that he had something to do with it, which he immediately denied. His father knew he was lying but he kept his calm and after cutting off the call, he called a henchman and ordered him to follow Yannick closely. After this call, he contacts his lawyers to find out where they stand with the plan built for Aliyan. He got some good news and it changed how the day felt about him.

Madame Françoise went to the hairdressing salon to make herself beautiful, it was almost noon. She was sitting on one of the chairs, waiting for the young ladies to come to him when he sees Aliyan entering the living room and comes to keep her company.

- Good evening.

- You know very well that you and I have nothing to say to each other.

- And I know you care about your daughter Bendis.

- Bendis to what?

- I am the one who must protect her. And I didn't come to talk to you about her but about him.

- Your war does not concern me. And Bendis is innocent.

- I didn't say she was guilty. Listen, I know you care about your children and I would hate to be the cause of your martyrdom.

- You have been since you laid eyes on my pupil. You took away the one thing I fight for.

- I just took a weight off you that was weighing you down more and more.

- I didn't call you as far as I know.

- You know what ? If you care about your son, tell him I haven't promised Bendis yet that I won't get my hands dirty if someone ever does something like that to me.

Aliyan was leaving when Madame Françoise yelled at him "you should call him and tell him yourself".

Bénédicte was at home when a man from Yannick came to pick her up because Yannick wanted to see her. The man led him to a small cabin outside of town. There he falls on Yannick who is sitting in an armchair with a glass in her hand and on the table in front of him there is a firearm.

- My father is not happy. And if he is not happy it is that I made a mistake and I should correct him.
