Chapter One Hundred & Fifty-Eight

“I’m here to - -” Stella hadn’t finished her statement when she saw some nurses rolling the hospital bed away from the jail area.

Her eyes spotted someone familiar on the bed thus she left the front desk and rushed over to the nurses.

“Wait.” She held the edge of the bed and the nurses stopped, wondering what was wrong with her.

It was an emergency case.

“Mum?” Her eyes dropped dead and became lifeless. “What happened to my mother?” She questioned angrily, staring at the nurses and one officer who was following them. “Did you forcefully kill my mother or something? What happened to my mother?” Her voice could be heard in the entire precinct as she was sounding like an insane pregnant woman.

“Madam Stella, be calm. Your mother only fainted.” The officer explained to her rashly.

“Only fainted? Did you call that only? How many times have you beaten her up to confess what she hasn't done?” She transferred her losses and anger at him, staring at him in disgust.

The officer shook his head.
