“What’s going on between you and your overbearing wife, Nina?” Martha asked her son in annoyance as she sat beside him on the armchair.

It was evening and the only thing a jobless full-time housewife could do was watch Telemundo to forget about her sorrow.

“I will appreciate it if you don’t mind yourself with my life from now on.” He snorted curtly.

“Oh really? Then what could a newly married man be doing in his father’s house when his lonely wife is at home?” She questioned him in mockery and he sighed.

“Mother, I don’t know what to do about Nina.” He frowned.

“What do you mean?” Martha couldn’t be more excited, especially when there was an interested gist beside her.

“I mean, she doesn’t want me to touch her and every time I try to act romantic, she gets annoyed and leaves the house.” He paused and faced his mother.

“I can’t return home not because we would either get into a fight or I will be left to sleep on the cold bed, what’s the difference?” He raised an annoying brow.
