“Don't worry, I'll handle everything,” Nolan said, looking overly calm.

Edmond sighed, as he assessed Nolan's unusual calmness. Even if he wanted to believe in Nolan, he just couldn't stay calm.

With his eyes fixed on Nolan, he tried persuading. “Nolan, we're in their school, not ours. I don't think you should act in haste, and say something that's not possible,”

Even if he knew his words seemed somehow hurtful to Nolan pride, he couldn't help but spill out. It was his job as his friend to make sure to remain Nolan properly in order not to make any mistake out of rash decision.

Nolan remained quiet, uncertain of his next move aside from a nervous chuckle. "Do you think I'm at a disadvantage?" he inquired.
