Inside the elevator, Caiden pulled out the Black Unlimited Mortgage Card from his pocket.

This card served two purposes. It's a digital card programmed with the fingerprint of the owner, able to open all the doors and vaults in a luxury estate. Likewise connected to the World Bank, given to only the highest investors in the bank and so far there are only three persons in the world who own this card.

With this card, one can get all the luxuries of the world and still not get bankrupt instead richer. This card signified power and dominance.

This is what he had decided to give to his wife after their marriage. But she betrayed him.

When the elevator doors slid open, Caiden stepped out.

“Sorry for your frustration,” a mocking voice called out.

Caiden lifted his gaze calmly and looked. It was Nevan. It was clear he had been chasing him over to continue the taunts.

Not wanting any interaction, Caiden attempted to walk past him, but Nevan shifted to block his way again.

Caiden’s expression turned icy as he looked straight at him. “Do you need something? If not, move aside.”

Nevan grinned exaggeratedly. “Look at this, everyone, Maelie's little lap dog is actually snapping at me! Let me guess, you're angry you'd be homeless when kicked out of here? Well, it's your fault. You brokeass rejected the money given to you.”

“What a pity!”

As he mocked Caiden, Nevan’s attention fell on the card in his hand.

“What's that?” Nevan asked, peering closely.

Nevan’s eyes widened in shock.

“Wait… isn’t that the Black Unlimited Mortgage Card?”

“Granted by the World Bank. Owned by only three people in the world?”

The scream quickly attracted attention from the staff nearby. Everyone turned to look.

People gathered around, staring in awe at the card. An impossible dream of many.

Caiden folded his hand closely over the card.

Now that things with Maelie were over, he saw no reason to tolerate the people around her anymore.

“Grab him!” Nevan shouted at his bodyguards. “Make him explain where he got that card. A nobody like him has no right to possess it! You must be the world's most wanted hacker, big thief…..you've been undercover all these while. Are you sure you didn't kill the CEO to get it?”

It had been rumored the CEO of Howard Hospital, the richest man in the world, had this card. They said he owned several chains of companies all over the world which weren't made public.

“It could be some propaganda…him staying abroad.” He spoke to the staff. “No wonder you wanted to marry her daughter, to kill her too and get this hospital to yourself.”

Before long, Nevan had changed the narrative of things and everyone was beginning to believe.

“If Mr. Logan is alive, why has he stayed abroad for long? Not even a visit.”

Before the guards could act, Caiden turned and delivered a sharp slap across Nevan’s face.

Nevan groaned as blood and a tooth flew from his mouth, his body was sent flying several meters before crashing to the ground.

His eyes widened in disbelief. He could not comprehend how a mere, weak doctor like Caiden had dared to strike him.

The two bodyguards hesitated briefly, stunned by Caiden’s strength, but quickly rushed forward to protect their hospital ally and attacked with a shout.

However, Caiden knocked them out effortlessly with two quick punches before they could lay their hands on him.

Nevan was left in shock, he couldn't understand how a common doctor had so much skill in fighting. Someone who could barely talk.

The surrounding employees were left speechless.

After casting a cold glance at the groaning Nevan, Caiden turned and walked away.

Not long after he left, Maelie and Cara arrived, having heard the disturbance.

“Oh, Nevan! Who did this to you? Do they have a death wish?” Cara exclaimed as she hurried to help him up.

Holding his swollen face, Nevan growled, “It was that useless Caiden! I’ll make him pay for this a hundred times over!”

Cara immediately became furious. “What? That bastard dared to hurt you? He must still be bitter about Maelie dumping him. That trash won’t get away with this!”

“But Maelie, you won’t believe what I saw. That guy actually stole the Black Unlimited Mortgage Card. He must be a big undercover criminal.”

Maelie froze. “What? Are you sure you saw it well? My dad got that. How could he get possession of it?”

This was her dream card, which she believed her dad would give to her the day he handed over to her.

“I saw it myself!” Nevan insisted. “Ask anyone here if you don’t believe me. Call your dad. I'm scared! What if he killed him or sent men to kill him and get the card?”

Maelie frowned, doubtful. “Are you not really exaggerating? I've been with Caiden for three years, he's always hospital to home and home to hospital. I've never found such a card with him. How could he get it?”

She was doubtful.

Nevan sneered. “Can you call your dad to confirm?”

Cara quickly added, “Exactly! It must be stolen or fake!”

“What would he use a fake card for?” Cara couldn't answer.

Maelie first called over a few employees to verify what had happened.

After confirming that Caiden indeed had the card with him, her expression darkened with anger and panic.

“This is outrageous!” She pulled out her phone to call her dad but it wasn't connecting. She does talk to him once in a while as he's busy with his role, how could something happen to him? He even promised to come back soon for the upcoming wedding he announced to him. With Nevan, the guy he'd always known to be his fiance. Not Caiden.

While waiting to connect with her dad, Maelie decided to handle this case herself.

CHAPTER 128The next thirty days happened to pass in an unsettling silence. From the updates Iowa quietly gathered, they learned that Derrick had started selling off his personal properties one after another.Every penny was being poured into a restitution fund he had rushed to create.A fund meant to repay the pensions and compensation owed to countless families who had spent years waiting for justice. Most of them had long since given up hope that they would ever receive what was rightfully theirs.Frederick, on the other hand, disappeared almost completely from the public. The powerful businessman who had once commanded respect everywhere he went was fading into the background.Behind closed doors, he focused on fulfilling every condition that had been placed before him, knowing he no longer had the influence to fight back. Each evening, Mark and Cathryn returned to the Howard estate feeling lighter than they had in months. The crushing burden of carrying dangerous secrets was fina

Daniel Phillips agreed to help, but he had one condition.“I want them to face the truth with their own eyes,” he said quietly after listening to the plan.“I don’t want this to end with some court document they can bury with money and powerful lawyers. I want to stand in front of Frederick and Derrick.”“I want to see the look on their faces when they realize I’m still alive, and that I have everything I need to bring them down.”Caiden thought about Daniel’s request for a moment.“That’s a dangerous thing to do,” he said. “Not just for you, but for everyone standing beside you.”Daniel slowly shook his head.“I’ve spent the last three years hiding,” he replied, his voice much steadier than before.“I’m tired of living in fear of men who became rich by destroying other people’s lives. If I’m going to risk everything again, then it has to be worth it.”No one argued with him after that.It took another two weeks of planning before everything was finally ready.During that time, Mark a

The next morning, before Mark and Cathryn could even finish eating breakfast, Iowa called everyone together for an emergency meeting.“Ravenswood made a move during the night,” she said as soon as they walked into the training hall. Her laptop was already open, with several windows filled with scrolling data.“They managed to get into a set of encrypted files connected to an old whistleblower case. It involves someone who tried to expose Frederick’s illegal activities three years ago.”Cathryn felt her heart sink.“The whistleblower you told us about during our first live training exercise,” she said carefully. “The one whose case files we studied.”Iowa gave a slow nod.“Yes, the same person. But now it looks like Ravenswood isn’t just keeping an eye on the case anymore. They’re actively trying to find the whistleblower.”Just as she finished speaking, Caiden walked into the room. His face looked more serious than Mark or Cathryn had ever seen before.“Do we know who the whistleblowe

Over the next few days, the training hall no longer felt like a place where people simply learned new skills. It slowly turned into a command center where every decision mattered.Every table was covered with documents, maps, laptops, and handwritten notes. The room was always busy, filled with quiet conversations and seriousness as everyone worked toward the same goal.Iowa stood at the center of the room, arranging several files across the long table. The bright laptop screens displayed reports, financial records, and timelines.Every paper represented another piece of a much bigger picture that Mark and Cathryn now had to help complete.“Frederick still believes you’re secretly giving him information about Caiden’s plans against DEZ OILS,” Iowa said calmly as she looked at both of them.“That trust is our greatest advantage right now. As long as he believes you’re on his side, we can use that to pull him to our advantage.”Cathryn leaned closer to the table, studying the files with
