Chapter 77

Gituku was not given the time to mourn his fallen comrades. He watched them suffer at the hands of Vixen whilst being pushed back by Bethel. It pained him to witness his friends turned into ashes. But what really aches was the fact that he could not even do anything about it.

"Haa!"

He was out of breath after the fierce consecutive attacks from Bethel, giving him no time to fight back. Fending his enemy, Bethel, was not easy. Something about Bethel changed upon disappearing earlier.

When Bethel came back from the strangely indescribable world of fantasy and magic, something about him changed. Unlike Gituku whose personality was not the same when he first split himself into two, Bethel was the same person but a much better version of him.

Under the guise of a loquacious manner, Gituku was actually a much quieter and polite person. None of it was his actual personality. But by splitting himself and constantly activating his skill, his Alter Ego changed him.
