Recruiting The Enemy

Bornville was a busy city in the fall. Corporate and Educational workers hastened along the streets in a hurry to get to their work place to finish projects before the cold season set in. Sales were being put out in large numbers to make room for restocks, and activities during the day had become even more tasking.

The activities of nightfall in Bornville had died down way more than usual. Nobody wanted to be out in the blazing cold, especially not in the dead of the night. This was the only part of the year where the normal humans remaining in the city had some ownership of the night.

A man clothed in a dark, long overcoat walked on the sidewalk of a half empty street. His pitch black hair was unusually long for a male and it was tucked in underneath the collar of the coat. His strides were long and steady to match his well built frame.
