121. I Couldn't Understand

It felt surreal, as Adam immediately opened fire on the enemy man with his rifle. I froze as I watched, the reddish liquid soaking my cheeks and military uniform. As badly as I had fought in Swinggelir, there had never been enemy blood splashed on me.

I realized that if this was the first world I had to visit, I'd probably go insane from witnessing this kind of thing all the time. Fortunately, Solace was kind enough to send me to the two worlds first.
