120. Our Way to Task

"Louis, your hand!" I said, pointing at the blue-eyed man.

"Oh, it's just a small cut. I can still move, we better find a safe place first," he replied.

Without lingering, I quickly approached Adam who was lying down. His breathing went up and down heavily, but he was able to open his eyes with a groan of pain.

I quickly carried him on my back while picking up his rifle that had been thrown quite far away. At the same time, Louis came over and put his arm around Alex who was staggering. Blood was flowing from his forehead and he grinned as soon as he saw me.

"Thank God you're alive," he said in a weak voice.

Louis then directed us to a house with a solid foundation and enough cover to hide in.

"Your head is bleeding, Alex," I said as I lowered and laid down Adam who was still groaning.

Alex then touched his forehead while chuckling softly like a psycho. "I just got hit by some debris, luckily it was a brick," he replied.

Then they very independently treated each other's wounds
