Divine Phoenix

Just like the description, the Ave Sovereign really possessed the characteristics of all the members of the aves family. Most of them were even more modified than the real thing. The mutation it had was even superb and second to none.

[Ave Sovereign has placed a curse on you that will decrease your attack by 50%, decrease your speed by 40%, and your HP will decrease by -1 for every second that passes.]

Daemon closed the distance between them, but it took more time than it should have given the curse had already started acting, causing both his attack and defense prowess to decrease drastically.

The ave Sovereign used one of its bladed wings to block his sword's landing, causing the sound of metal colliding with metal to resound.

The Daemon was pushed backward, but before he could gain balance, the fast moving ave sovereign with speed 4 launched his body at him.

"Damn human, you have no chance of survival; the curse will follow you for the rest of your life, and not even the popes or priests of the church of light will be able to lift it."

The ave sovereign spoke sinisterly. Its tone was like that of a cold killer.

From it's wings, feathers with the size and sharpness of a small dagger began flying to where Daemon was. It was so fast and the distance between them was so small that even if he tried his best to dodge, it would still meet him and the damage would be even more lethal, as the shorter the distance, the greater the damage.

Ave Sovereign snorted, then he waved his large wings, causing the air to move chaotically as a blade flew out of them to where Daemon was.

The ave Sovereign was surprised because he had always gulped down a bottle of health portion whenever Daemon HP was at its lowest limit, but this time it didn't.

"Inferno pillar."

For the second time, the great cylinder of flame descended. The sky lit up as though the sun had descended.

The sound came and it was deafening, but that wasn't the case. The case was the ave sovereign who was being devoured by the flame.

The ave sovereign was so frustrated it didn't even know how to come out of this situation. From where Daemon was, all he could see was a black bird like figure that was slowly shattering into pieces.

A site-wide broadcast was sent, and while the other players reacted to his victory, Daemon began making his way back to the return portal that would take him outside the gate.

Fortunately, after killing the ave sovereign, the curse was taken off and all his attributes were returned to normal, and he also gained [Bladed feather ×600] & [Golden corral ×30]

But he did not leave immediately and went into a strange structure that had a portal at the front of it that served as an entrance.

Once he entered, he was greeted with skeletons. Most of them were of humans, while others were of other kinds, including large birds and other monsters.

This place wasn't that lit and was as dark as the late evening. Only the fire torch lit it up, but it couldn't light up the place.

"A human walking in the place is unusual, but I can sense that the Ave Sovereign is no more and that you are not an ordinary human."

Then he turned his back and lit a fire ball in his hands to see it brighter, but then he saw a large bird with a golden body was using its wings to hide something.

The Phoenix Empress removed her wings from the thing she was covering and blinding light covered the whole prison as a young looking golden phoenix the size of an eagle was sent into the air, flying to where Daemon was.

If it was a female player, she would definitely fall in love with its cuteness, but Daemon was not a man that does something for its cuteness.

The Phoenix Empress has granted her son to your care. Will you accept? Once accepted, the bond can only be cancelled after a year has passed.

"Accept."

He accepted it, and a glowy golden tattoo appeared on his palm with a phoenix head.
