ch 7: Angry kong

A small drone spider shaped but its tiny metallic leags inverted spun slowly the tiny red eye shifted here and there as it flew into the warehouse. Going past some rock and damaged concrete, the insides came into view: scattered mechanical parts here and there discarded, garbage filled a part crawling with rodents.

At the back in an open space sat a tall figure on a broken concrete slab, huge gorilla like Cybernetics arms pulsed with bright red lights intermittently, metallic legs like thst of a rabbit- the knee joint bent towards the back gleamed in the moon light from the broken warehouse ceiling.

This was Mad kong a miracle of bionic and cybernetic implants. He wore a gorillas head shaped helmet covering his head attached to his thick suit, a hollow hole on the topmost part of the helmet loomed dangerously.

A thousand meters out, Rex crunched low his shadow coat activated turning him invisible only the circular visor of his helmet g****e left out, the red light blinking. His expression was solemn although Mad kong appeared to be injured- a long crack in his chest armour plate running from his left chest to his right belly, probably from a very thick sharp blade....his innards a bit visible. The crack lined with a greenish blood

You could tell he wasn't complete human

"Jax?"

[Affirmative! Scanning...his brain waves appear to be stable, his injuries are severe from his vital reading, but they are already healing at a fast pace. He is probably using a higher grade of nanomeds to patch his injuries]

"Tsk!" Rex clicked his tongue " how is his combat ability?"

[60%, but siting his said rampage mode from the bounty information I ask of you to exercise consciousness and awareness]

"....."

Rex inches closer pressure mounting with every step. He could still see inside the warehouse through the robot. He directed the robot to move closer

Switching from arial mode to land mode, the robot shut off the blade and the legs turned to its right form moving forward with a spider crawl..

"Jax"

[Calculating Best break in sequence....]

[Calculating possible scenarios.....]

Rex moved on, steps quick and silent 50 meters from the entrance he suddenly froze retreating. Steps turned as he headed to the side looking to break in from the side matching kongs back catching him unawares....

Dozens of meters to the side hall, he pulled a wide short device-a bomb charged with dark energy. Pressing the lid the device whired to life glowing softly around the edges..... cloaked under his Shadow cloak.

He lies in wait

"Activate" he commanded

[Count down : 00 : 00 : 30]

With every second drop in count, the tension mounted A strange emotion swirled in his chest

" You got this Rex" he whisper to himself, trying to calm his nerves

[Count down : 00 : 00: 17]

Humm! The red glow intensified on the device, the destructive power radiating under Rex coat fluttering slightly

" I got this...I got this"

[Countdown: 00 : 00 : 09]

The thrusters under his boots surged brightly scattering the soil beneath its feel preparing for the violently burst forth

3.....2....1.....Go time!

Boom! his power jump created a minor sonic boom as he leaped five stories high, seeing into the warehouse from the gap on the ceiling. The device tumbled out of his hand falling into the gap heading for Mad kong.

And boOOOOOOOOM!! an explosion rocked the warehouse tearing it apart like paper sending shards of stones and metals in all directions. The force pushed Rex even higher reaching seven stories into the sky- a dangerous hight to be.

Falling, the cloak hardened slowing his fall into a glide, the thrusters aided intermittently slowing his decent further. With a feather like drift he landed....soft and smooth.

"I'm getting good at this" he mused momentarily forgetting the situation

[Warning! Violently signals radiating from the target probably entering his rampage mode. Suggest hasty retreat. Danger level increased to 120%]

Sharp warning belated through his interface bringing back to reality.

"Shit! " He cursed as the thrusters whired to life his every step taking him ten meters backwards in a blink he was 100meters away...a bit slow

Bang! A sudden noise drew is attention as a large concrete slab headed his way nerves jolted

[Enemy attack! Suggested actions: activate Choas mode on the gauntlet and hold your ground]

Doing as he was told with any hesitation, he slammed both feet to the ground leaning toward, hand outstretched gauntlet pulsing with dark electrical all in a fraction of a second

In a nano second the slab drew near, bring fist together akimbo. He jammed them together send a purple forcefield that blew away anything in 30 meter radius. But that only helped to slow it down hurling closer with every moment.

Dispair set in for a moment only to be overtaken by a burning fire to live. He wasn't going to fall here. Inclining his upper body further, his tightened fist- charged up met the slab

Bang! Hand trembling from the force, he threw another

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Six punch in succession released before the slab slowed down....unbroken

Huff! Huff! He panted sweat soaking his suit, beading down his face filtering in the moon light. He was about 15 meter from where he proudly was, two long shallow trails on the ground.

Arrrgh bang! He pushed the concrete slab hitting the ground with solid bang relieving his spine

"Ha! That was nasty" he rasped hands on his knees-bent panting, still trembling from the quick escalation of things. If it hadn't been for the grade 3 magic beast meat he had eaten that had enhanced his body to stage one peak, and the cybernetic gears equipment, meat paste would be an understatement for his expected state

The his bone still arched, gauntlet cracking a bit

"Oh shit"said. Suddenly he noticed a black objecting in the sky- first he taught it was star but then as it got closer, it looked familiar...MAD KONG!
