Chapter XIV (The Talking Cat)
Looking at the empty ceiling while the beams of the morning sun hit his face, Damion awoke with his head slightly aching. A sudden, transient vision got inside his mind that made him irk. "What the hell was that?"

The transient vision he had seen wasn't that clear, but he did see a figure. He furrowed his brows and organized his thoughts as he seemed to be recalling something.

He can't remember anything.

He sighed and immediately rose from his bed, scratched his eyes, and then drastically shook his head. He later observes that his arms are too skinny; it is so unusual as his arms weren't like that before.

Out of surprise, he quickly got out of bed and went to check his other body parts in the bathroom mirror. He was left gaping in surprise as he saw his body reduced to skin and bones. "What the hell happened to me? Why do I look like this? I look like a living corpse!"

He looked like a malnourished person who had not eaten for several weeks.

[COMMOTION NOISES]
