Chapter XVI (Rook Reeves)
[SPLASH! SPLASH!]

Sea waves splattered strongly against a tall, steep, rugged island plateau somewhere in the Islands of Clarisson, a few kilometers near the city of Polo de Oro.

It was early in the morning, around six a.m.

Above the plateau, a bald man was standing, sightseeing the enormous, tall buildings of Polo de Oro City, while speaking with somebody on his phone.

"We are here now, Levi."

This bald man had a cross marking on his forehead, all the way to his chin. He also had a huge scar that probably left his left eye blind.

The bald man was Rook Reeves. He is an American.

"I'll make sure he is dead meat," he said on the phone, which he immediately put down as he ended the conversation. He shortly called out some names: "Yarush, Perkin, and Rico..."

Three men emerged from his back, all dressed in matching dark leather hooded jackets paired with dark jeans tucked into high-cut boots. On their foreheads, they also had the same cross marking as Rook.
