David was surprised, no one had ever been this kind to him.

He was grateful, but didn't know how to show it.

“ Thank you, sir.” He said. “ You have just bailed me out.”

“ It's okay, it's nothing huge.”

The man sat on a chair one of his guards pulled out for him.

He gestured, and some drink was poured into a shot glass for him.

“ What's your name again, son?” The man asked without looking at him.

“ David Wyatt.” He answered.

“ You seem like a smart kid. Are you a smart kid?” He puffed out smoke.

“ I always hope to be doing the smart thing. I try my best.” David shrugged.

He smirked, but he continued to drink.

None of the waiters moved, everyone was standing in a fixed position.

“ How many more of the bottles he spilled do you guys still have?” He asked the head waiter.

“ Um… ten here and seventy others in the storage room.” The head waiter answered.

“ Bring them all out.”

The waiters all looked at each other in shock.

“ But sir, that would cost you over two hundred thousand dollars.” The head waiter warned him. “ Are you certain that you want to make that massive purchase?”

“ My pocket isn't complaining.” The man laughed. “ And you are going to get your commission, so I don't understand why you haven't started to bring in the bottles.”

The waiter nodded at the other waiters and they excitedly got to work.

David was standing in a corner as the drama unfolded.

The man turned and raised his pipe at him.

“ Come have a drink with me.” He called him.

David sat down and started to quietly drink with the man.

“ How did your evening go, David?” The man questioned.

David took a sharp exhale as he thought of his evening.

“ Not good.” He confessed. “ I think my girlfriend broke up with me before she walked out that door. Life is just so fucked right now.”

“ You are such a nice-looking boy, David.” His eyes softened as he gazed at David. “ Why would she break up with you?”

“ Because I am flat-ass broke.” David raised and dropped his hands. “ I can't afford to buy her a single good thing.”

“ Well, that's her loss, she was meant to go.” The man encouraged him.

By that time, the waiters were done with bringing out the bottles.

The man turned to David and gave him one of the bottles, David took it cluelessly.

“ Aaah, I drank this a few days ago.” He smiled as he read the label of the bottle. “ It was just soda water, but it was this old man's favourite drink.”

David held it well in his hand, so as not to get into fresh trouble.

“ What are you going to do with them?” He asked. “ You can't possibly drink all of them.”

“ Of course, not.” The man smirked.

The man let go of the bottle, and it fell loudly to the ground.

David jumped from his chair as he looked in shock. Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars just gone like that?!

That had got to be a mistake, but when he looked at the man, he didn't see any remorse.

" That felt good.” He laughed. “ Would you like to try it?”

David jerked his head as his eyes widened.

" Here.” The old man pushed one bottle to him. “ It's the best feeling in the world, go ahead.”

“ But, it's so expensive.”

“ Don't think, just do it.” He urged.

And David did, he smashed the bottle against the ground.

The man wasn't lying, David felt very relieved from doing that.

His chest was heaving up and down, but he liked what he did.

“ Come on, again!”

David didn't need to waste any more time. He repeated it again and again.

He thought about Natalie and all she did to him, his shitty boss, his inconsiderate landlord, his faulty MacBook, everything!

It all didn't matter as he poured all his anger into breaking the bottles, and in twenty minutes, the whole restaurant was scattered, like a war took place in it.

The tables, chairs, even the waiters, almost everything was touched by the broken bottles and the wine spilled.

David looked at his soda water-stained hands and then at the man, he was smiling and clapping for him.

“ Good job, kid.” He said. “ Good job.”

Without another word, the mysterious man walked out of the restaurant, with his guards.

David was now left with the waiters, they were behind the table of the bar.

“ What?” David asked them nastily since they were giving him a nasty look.

“ Um, the man? He didn't pay for those drinks.” One of the waiters told him.

Shit!

David ran out to catch up with the old man.

Luckily, the man hadn't gone far, he was about to get into one of the cars.

“ Hey, Mister!” David halted him.

The man stopped and looked at David with a fond smile.

“ You didn't pay!” David shouted. “ I don't have that kind of money, I will probably go to jail for that!”

“ That won't happen, David.” The man assured him.

“ How do you know that?!”

“ Because the family that I work for are billionaires, and they own the restaurant.” He broke to him.

David's jaw dropped to the ground, his hand rubbed his chin.

“ What's going on?” David wondered aloud.

The man put his hands into the pocket of his coat as he walked closer to David.

“ You didn't get my name, it's Gary.” He said.

“ Mister Gary,” David repeated.

“ Please, just Gary would be fine. Your father would kill me for that.” He chuckled.

Wait, father?!

The old man, Gary, bowed very lowly to the ground with his hands respectfully held by his side.

“ Young Master.” He greeted.
