Inside the extended Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The interior was warm and luxurious, a stark contrast to the cold wind outside.

Lucas sat on the handmade Italian leather seat. The old butler, Sebastian, knelt on one knee and handed him a glass of vintage red wine worth $50,000.

"Young Master, you have suffered for three years," Sebastian said with tears in his eyes. "The Master (Lucas's father) has lifted all restrictions on your bank accounts. The Supreme Black Card has been reactivated."

Lucas took a sip of the wine. The taste of poverty and submission faded from his tongue, replaced by the familiarity of power.

"It wasn't suffering, Sebastian," Lucas said calmly, his eyes deep like the ocean. "It was a lesson. It taught me that without money, even 'true love' is fragile like paper."

Lucas looked at his reflection in the window. The messy hair and cheap T-shirt made him look pathetic.

"Clean me up. I have a meeting tomorrow."

"Yes, sir. Where to?"

Lucas's lips curled into a cold smile.

"To the Wilson Group. I heard they are looking for a new owner. Buy it."

"The Wilson Group?" Sebastian paused. "Young Master, isn't that where... Miss Lily works?"

"Ex-wife," Lucas corrected him. "Yes. She is so proud of being a General Manager there. She thinks she has entered the upper class. So, I will become her Boss."

"I want to see her expression when she realizes she is working for the 'trash' she threw away."

"Understood!" Sebastian immediately made a call. "Transfer 5 billion dollars. Acquire 100% of the Wilson Group immediately."

...

Meanwhile, at the Carter Villa.

Laughter filled the living room.

"Oh my god, Lily! You finally divorced him!" Karen held the divorce paper like it was a winning lottery ticket. "We should open a bottle of champagne!"

Lily sat on the sofa, feeling a sense of relief. "Yes, Mom. I feel so light. No more useless husband dragging me down. Now I can focus fully on my career."

Just then, her phone rang. It was the CEO of the Wilson Group.

Lily's face turned serious. She quickly answered, "Hello, Mr. CEO?"

"Lily! Big news!" The CEO's voice was trembling with excitement. "A mysterious buyer just acquired our entire company! The transaction was completed in ten minutes! 5 Billion dollars in cash!"

"What?!" Lily stood up in shock. "5 Billion?! Who is the buyer?"

"I don't know exactly. But I heard it's the heir of the legendary King Family! He is coming to inspect the company tomorrow morning. Lily, you are the General Manager. You must prepare the welcome ceremony perfectly!"

"If this new owner likes you, your future will be limitless! You might even marry into a trillionaire family!"

The call ended. Lily was shaking with excitement.

"Mom! Did you hear that?" Lily grabbed Karen's hand. "The mysterious heir of the King Family bought my company! He is coming tomorrow!"

"The King Family?" Karen gasped. "That's the richest family in the world! Lily, this is your chance! You are beautiful and capable. If you can hook up with this heir..."

"Yes!" Lily's eyes sparkled with ambition. "Compared to this heir, Lucas is just a bug on the ground. Thank god I divorced him today! Otherwise, a married woman wouldn't have a chance."

Lily rushed to her bedroom.

"I need to pick my best dress. Tomorrow, I will be the most beautiful woman in the company. I must capture the new Boss's heart!"

She didn't know that the "New Boss" she was dreaming about was currently sitting in a presidential suite, looking at her photo and throwing it into the trash can.

...

The next morning.

The Wilson Group Tower.

Hundreds of employees stood in two lines at the entrance. A red carpet was rolled out.

Lily stood at the very front, wearing a tight red dress that showed off her perfect figure. She had spent three hours on her makeup. She looked breathtaking.

"Manager Lily, you look gorgeous today," a female colleague flattered her. "The new Chairman will definitely fall for you."

Lily smiled confidently. "Of course. I am ready."

Vroom—

A convoy of ten black Rolls-Royces drove slowly toward the entrance. The license plate of the lead car was "KING 001".

The crowd held their breath.

The car stopped. The door opened.

"He's coming!" Lily's heart beat fast. She put on her most charming smile and stepped forward, ready to greet the billionaire of her dreams.

A shiny leather shoe stepped onto the red carpet.

Then, a tall, handsome figure in a bespoke suit walked out. He exuded an aura of supreme dominance.

Lily bowed deeply, her voice sweet as honey:

"Welcome, Mr. Chairman! I am the General Manager, Lily Car..."

She looked up.

Her smile froze. Her eyes widened in horror. Her brain stopped working.

The face in front of her... was a face she had looked at for three years.

"L-Lucas?!"

Lily screamed, forgetting her manners. "What are you doing here?! You useless trash! Are you here to beg me for money? Security! Throw him out!"

The entire crowd was shocked. The General Manager was screaming at the Chairman?

Lucas stood on the red carpet, looking down at the panicked woman. He didn't smile.

"Security," Lucas said calmly.

Two burly guards rushed over.

"Slap her."
