CHAPTER 13: DEREALIZATION

Helyx rubbed his eyes and got up. Still under the influence of the dream he had seen, the white light dazzled his eyes, bringing him back to the real world.

A police car was approaching the twins.

Seeing this, Helyx rushed towards Styx and shook him.

Styx grumbled, "What's wrong?"

Helyx didn't even attempt to respond to yesterday's resentment. He pointed to the approaching car with his eyes.

Styx was tired, and his mood had been affected. He buried his deep thoughts into the depths of his subconscious, bringing forth primitive and simple emotions. For the time being, completely childish, frail, and ineffective feelings had taken the place of his permanent and superior logic.

The police car came to a stop in front of the twins, and a person in a black uniform stumbled out. He adjusted his glasses and furrowed his brows. Although he tried to appear serious and professional, it was evident that he was young and inexperienced.
