Chapter 3: Finding way to survive

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!! That’s cold!”

I scream out loud after being splashed by cold water again. Different from before woke up and my entire body was tied with iron chains.

They are heavy and the tightness strings my body.

“Hey, pervert scumbag!! How dare you harassed the princess with your filthy hands?”

Just like before, I don’t have any idea what she’s talking about. I don’t even know if there’s still a point in having a conversation with her. Probably, talking to her is meaningless and she will kill me despite how much I beg for my life.

This is hopeless.

I did find someone that looks exactly like Choco. Who am I kidding? There is no way that girl is Choco. I mean, Choco died and I saw her body swimming with her own blood…

“?!”

Remembering Choco’s death made my stomach turn upside down. I hold my vomit and gulp it down.

“Just kill me already… You hated me right?”

I whispered.

There is no hope. It's hopeless… I’ll die either way here. If I die that means I don’t need to suffer anymore. No more pain, no more working, no more looking down, I could be in peace. That would be wonderful. Instead of running from death. Accepting death was probably the best choice.

I bend down my head and close my eyes.

“I won’t kill you… You kinda pass in my examination. Be grateful. From now on I’ll be your master. And you’re my slave okay.”

Kisara said.

Surprised by what I just heard I turned my eyes to her.

“What?”

“I said I won’t kill you… Just like master said your body is tough. Not as I expected but you’re going to become a decent slave.”

She clenched her hand. Light traced on my body toward my neck. The light turned into a dog collar.

“What is this?”

“While you’re asleep we make the ritual for your enslavement. You are forever our slave now.”

Charlotte explained.

“This chain is what connects me as your master. The moment you disobey my order the collar will get tighter and tighter. Eventually killing you.”

Just kill me already… I got a feeling that these girls would be very unreasonable and make my life hellish.

Thinking back, I never ever have a great life.

My life is such a waste.

Thinking for a brief moment ignoring every blabbering these two girls in front of me saying.

I made my choice.

I want to die…

(Red, you’re going to give me my revenge right? Are you giving up?)

I heard Choco’s voice again.

I gritted my teeth. Angry at myself for the negative thoughts running in my head.

“There is no way… I’ll let myself be killed… There is someone up there that needs to pay dearly.”

“What’s is with him? Suddenly talking non-sense.”

Charlotte stepped back.

I would be her slave and still be alive. Better than roaming outside filled with dangerous demonic creatures.

I would use this time and find my way up back to the sky.

“It’s a deal… I’ll do whatever you want. I’ll be your slave.”

Kisara crack a grin and said:

“Oh? That flames in you’re eyes I like it. I am finally, getting some sense of spirit out of you. While you’re at it, This would be a great time to test your capability.”

She squashed the chains around me with her own hand and pull me using the dog collar outside of the room.

“Stop dragging me. I will walk together with you.”

“I’m a cautious woman. I won’t let you escape this time.”

If you wanted to be treated a woman became a woman first. That’s what I wanted to say to her, but since my life is literally in her hand I can’t argue further.

Walking beside us was Charlotte who have a sweet smile on her face. She was smiling but I could sense extreme danger. I think I already know what personality this girl has.

After walking into the hallway we walked into a long staircase downward.

“Where exactly are we?”

“I’ll tell you when you passed the second test?”

“I’m not an official slave yet.”

“You’re already my slave, but I want to know you’re capabilities more and this is the fastest way for that. Do you’re best or else you’ll die.”

I gulp my saliva and prepared myself for the worst.

In the basement is a huge dungeon and cages. After they open the cage Kisara toss me inside.

“Open the light Charlotte.”

“Yeah.”

Sound of switches clicking and light turning on on the. I was amazed at how spacious the cage is. I think the cage has 20 feet high ceiling and towering pillars used as support.

“Grrrr…”

The sound of the beast's cry echoed.

Scared I slowly turned my gaze toward the sound source. A giant three-headed dog, drooling and eyes ready to attack its prey.

“Are you kidding me?!”

I turned to Kisara.

“This is you’re the second test. Kill this C-level monster Cerberus… There is a chest next to you containing different weapons. Use anything and prove me that you could survive.”

This is either death or death.

Death by the enslavement seal or death being chow down by this beast.

“Growwwwwwlllll!!”

Cerberus charge forward. Widen its fang and crunches down. I manage to dodge the attack at the last second.

The weapon chest was knocked away and weapons were scattered around the floors. Sliding near me was a short sword. Rusty and barely have any blade.

“He got speed more than your average joe… Hey! That beast is not eating for a week now. His already weakened a bit you should thank me for that.”

Am I supposed to take her seriously?

The Cerberus continue attacking recklessly and I continue to dodge roll.

“Don’t call me hey? My name is Red!”

“Like the color red?”

“Yeah, like the color red.”

“Red is currently in the red.”

Charlotte made a pun about my name and she seems to be enjoying my despair here. She’s watching with popcorn and drinks with her.

“What is this beast doing in this place anyway?”

“It’s one of my pets.” Kisara replied.

This girl is totally mental. I’m so sure about it now.

“This is getting boring isn’t it… You’re just dodging and dodging. Fight heads on like a true man will you? Coward!”

They can say what they want. My life is technically in the line here. I’ll fight in my own way and find my way to defeat this thing.

Just like how I survive till now. I continue searching and searching for a way.

If I wasn’t able to defeat this beast. Getting my revenge for Choco would be impossible.

“For Choco…”

The Cerberus chased me running at high speed.

I stopped running and turned around. I opened my eye widely and have a good look at the giant fangs speeding toward me.

I dive down beneath its body and use the short sword in my hand to strike its belly After one stab I pulled the sword and made another stab and forcefully hack down. Cutting its belly open and intestine falling.

When Cerberus is about to crunch me down. There is a small gap beneath its body.

That was a close call. If I lost my timing even in a split second the fag will surely catch me and I’m eaten alive.

Cerberus crashes down on the wall. Unable to stand up firmly. I took my chance and climb to the top of its three heads. I stab their head multiple times to be sure that this beast is already dead.

“Cerberus is hungry for a week now. His top speed is already affected. Anyways, he manages to defeat it on his own. He’ll make a wonderful dog for me.”

“It took him 3 minutes to kill that. I can kill that in 2 seconds.”

Charlotte claim.

I use most of my time running around observing its attack patterns.

Wait, Charlotte can kill this thing in 2 seconds. That’s incredible.

“Kisara is this really fine… I killed your pet.”

“It’s fine his not very obedient so I didn’t feed him.”

My body started to feel soggy. My head is spinning.

“Speaking of feeding… When is my meal time?”

I’m not eating anything since I got here. I have barely eaten before I fell down here. My energy is already at its critical point.

I’ll die in starvation.

Charlotte opens the cage and widely opens my mouth. Pouring pop-corn.

I’m choking!!

I snatched her drink and chug it down.

“Gosh! So bold! You’re that desperate to get my indirect kiss.”

I’m not thinking anything like that.

“You should not be drinking that drink casually.”

Kisara said with her eye averted away a little.

“Why?”

“It’s poisoned flavored drink. Anyone who's not immune to poison could die after drinking it.”

“What?”

My eye rolled upward and everything in my vision turned white.

How in a world I’m able to survive this place?
