Attack on heaven

Miles palace

        As ordered Magnus is presented in Miles palace, h this time not in his chamber but in assembly room. Miles doesn't want many people to know about this before it's confirmed and the reason behind it is known. Just Warner, other 4 servants and Miles know about this for now.

         Magnus bows and greets Miles, raise concern for being called at this late hour. Miles says, "Magnus I hope to get the true answers of my questions to you. I have always trusted you. Now it's the test of your loyalty. Why did you come to give me breakfast in the morning? Were there any other motive behind just serving me on my big day?" Magnus throws himself at Miles feet, "My lord, I have always been loyal to you. Don't say these things and make your servant ashamed of himself. Just like I used to serve you before being transferred to lord Ardell, I wanted to do so today on the day of your test."

          Miles lifts him up and looks him in the eye, and orders him to leave. Magnus thanks him for trusting him and leaves. The other servants ask Miles why did he do it and not interrogate him more. Miles answers their question, "It was not done by him. There is someone else behind all these. He has just being used as a pawn. I will solve this method from this movement onwards you all just be more careful now. I won't overlook any other mistake." Saying this he leaves from there and takes a stroll around the garden.

         'When I was picking him up, I accidentally looked in his eyes and there I found there has been some spell made on him, his memory has been erased. This can only be done by higher rank deities as only they possess this kind of ability. Who in this heaven is against me being king? Will they try to harm me at any cost and hurt others like this too? What's their motive behind this? Is it someone from demon realm? No it can't be they can never break into heaven.' Miles was thinking all sort of possibilities behind this conspiracy while someone yell for help from him.

         He quickly flies towards the place sound was coming, there he sees that few demons have attacked his palace. He quickly says a spell and takes out his weapons. His soldiers are fighting them and he joins too. One of the enemy straightly comes towards him Miles just makes one blow to his heart and he is dead. Someone else comes from behind and grabs Miles, puts a sword on his neck. Miles eyes, at this moment of stress, shows calmness he pushes him and fights him and beheaded him.

         More soldier joins as quickly as they can and then Jude and his soldier also join. Both the brothers fights demons side by side, like they always has been. They protect each other from behind and face the enemy from the front. In no time the demons have been killed and half of them left while some of them are being caught alive. The ones caught alive takes poison and kills their own self. To not to be caged and interrogated from the heaven.

         "How did they appear in your palace out of nowhere brother, are you alright?" Jude asks, his eyes and voice full of concern. "Don't worry Jude how can I be hurt when I have you by my side. No one can break in heaven like this, how did they do so? There definitely is someone from heaven behind this." Miles replies. "I have ordered for more soldiers to protect the boundaries now you go to sleep peacefully, this matter will be raised tomorrow in the court and we will figure it out. You also have a test tomorrow brother, take a good rest." Jude assures Miles and both of them go back to their rooms for a bit rest, as no one is getting sleep tonight after that.

Next day

In the courtroom

          The announcer declares, "All the palaces of heaven are under inspection, no matter to whom it belongs. Till it is being done everyone is bound to stay here in the courtroom." Everyone becomes shocked as to why their palaces are being inspected. They become curious to know the reason and appeal to the king. The higher rank deities feel humiliated because of such a accusation.

          The king then begins, "Yesterday, demons attracted Miles palace at night. It brings shame to the name of heaven on how did they break in. They were defeated by soldiers there and Miles and Jude. After that Miles urged for an emergency meeting to the council, in that he brought up that someone tried to poison him, it was mixed in his breakfast. After some investigations the conclusion was that it is someone of higher rank. If you want to admit your sin and your union with demon clan, you have your chance." Ardell and Regina hears that and are left in sweats, they don't know what to do. They didn't call the demons yet then how did they come. Did some of there spies passed the information about them. After all they are relieved that there palace don't have any evidence but Ardell still is in chaos as if the spy might have left something.

The servants who went to check comes back. They couldn't find a single evidence of the conspiracy. Ardell is relieved, 'I need to check, who is spy and why did he do this. But I have to be careful, I can't do that right now.' "I am relieved to know that no one of you were in this matter. But we will go till the depth of this. Attack on the future king shall not be taken unserious." Everyone agrees to the king. "Your Majesty how can demons break in into the heaven, how is the heaven's security doing. What about our security?" One of the deity asked.

"Your security is always first to me. The guards on the borders have been doubled and new spell is going to be cast on the borders which would be more powerful than the last one, you all can rest assure." The king always fulfills his words, so everyone is relieved.
