CHAPTER NINETEEN

He sat in a rather dim place. With only one source of light. And they seemed to be no hope inside. But he was trying to hold on to the little hope he was left with.

He looked from left to right. Pupils a bit dilated even though he was trying to pretend all was okay. That he got this.

But the truth of the matter this was beyond anything he could have ever thought of. This was something he never imagined to happen to him.

One day, he was excited that he was now rich and could afford anything he wanted. That no one will ever look down on him. And the next day he was locked up. How was that even possible?

Was it a curse or what? Destined to be poor. The moment you have money, some messed up crap happens.

Before he could lose himself in thoughts even more, the same police officers that took him in walked in. Smiling.

He looked from one to the other. Putting on a rather determined face.
