Chapter 15

Lily was lying on the backseat of Sabrina’s car along with her sister..she felt a jerk and heard a thud sound maybe because of the underdeveloped road.

She still remembered exactly what happened, she was wide awake but only acted as if asleep, she was slowly checking out her surroundings that were completely normal, although she had expected some wizardry stuff kept in the car but to her surprise there was none.

Sabrina was driving the car in silence till her phone rang and she kept it on hand-free mode and continued driving.

“Hey sweetheart, everything ok? You left in hurry and then you were not picking up your phone, you have any idea how scared I was? Knowing the task given to you.” The man on call spoke up.

“Ohh Brian, relax. I’m ok. The girls were in danger, I had to protect them. Lord has trusted me with this.” Sabrina said in polite tone trying to calm down the person over the phone who sounded worried.

“Protect us? Why?..and who is this lord?…Lucifer?” Thought Lily to herself connecting dots.

“Sabrina What if something would have happened?” Brian asked.

“Ohoo why..you humans always take so much stress about what would have happened..I’m ok Baby..you don’t have to worry.” Sabrina assured the man.

“Human? She’s dating a human?” Thought Lily.

“When will you come back?” Asked Brian.

“On my way..but first I have to drop these girls to their home and redo their car…can’t risk our secrets with these two.” Sabrina said.

“Umm..alright, I’m waiting. Take care of yourself.” Brain said and disconnected the call without asking further questions.

Sabrina stoped the car outside Lily’s home and turned towards the girls lying unconscious on back seat, Lily knew that Sabrina was going to cast enchantments on them, so that they forget everything they witnessed but while the witch was murmuring something Lily was continuously reminding herself “Never forget Lily..don’t let this magic fade away your memory..”

She kept on repeating same words to herself..

Sabrina on the other hand continued her magical enchantments and at the end she placed her thumb on middle of Dia’s forehead and said out loud.. “you and Lily drove back home safely..while lily was driving and you fell asleep.”

She then extended her hand towards Lily and touched her forehead and said, “You were driving last night…Calm down Lily, let your brain loose..Don’t tie yourself to that memory..” Lily was scared for a moment that her act was caught but she carried on her acting.

She said those words as she could feel that Lily’s brain was fighting back against her magic.

She against spoke out and said, “You were driving last night while Dia was asleep. You drove back home safe.”

After listening to these words, Lily didn’t realised when she lost consciousness…it became all dark.

After dropping the girl’s home and making them sleep comfortably on their beds..Sabrina safely came out of the house. Although for doing so she had to do a lot of magic, that includes rubbing of her memory from the mind of Lily and Dia’s mother.

Sabrina stood in front of the house of the girls in middle of night and not a single soul around her, she again murmured something and waved her arms in air..and ended by wide opening them with her head tilted backwards..she looked upon the night sky with her yellow eyes without blinking.

Within seconds, her hands appeared as if in fire but with softer texture. Yellow hue emerged around her hands lighting up the whole dark surroundings. She looked at the house once again and started her revolution around the house.

While she was doing so her eyes were stick to the walls of the house..yellow flames dripped from her hands and were falling on the ground making a boundary of fire.

When the circle was completed the flames around

The house rose upto 3feet from the ground and then just vanished into thin air.

Sabrina stood at the place where she was standing earlier and then spoke out loud, “Sabrina the witch is marking this place as her own territory. Any entity or human except the ones living here, have to go through my sight before entering this house.”

After completing this work of hers and ensuring the girl’s safety, Sabrina went back home..with a message sent to Lucifer “The girls are safe now. Did exactly what you said.”

“Great!” Replied Lucifer while going towards the dinner table.

He got seated there and said, “the girls are safe.”

“Well that’s just for now.” Maze replied who was sitting on the other end of table.

“No one is safe for long till he is on loose.” Lucifer replied as both of them had their meal.

Lily heard a loud thud then a “oww”. She woke up and looked around only to find that Dia was not on her bed.

“Dia?” Questioned Lily.

“Yeah..I’m here.” Said Dia who got up from the floor and went upto her bed and tucked herself in her blanket.

“You fell on floor while asleep?” Lily questioned in confusion.

“Of course I fell while being asleep. Who else deliberately jumps of the bed?” Dia said in sleepy voice and git back to sleeping.

Lily laid on her back and looked at ceiling with a blank expressions. She felt she was forgetting something. She closed her eyes trying hard to remind herself the events from last night.

She knew something happened..and there was a power that was forcing her to not think about that. She took three deep breaths to calm herself down and after next few minutes she was back in her warm comforter in deep sleep once again..but this time the sleep wasn’t a relaxing one as she recalled all the events from last night in form of dream.

“She’s a witch..I saw it..i know..she is..” she murmured in her sleep.

“Lily..lily wake up..what’s wrong?” Dia shook her sister up.

Lily woke up with a jerk and found her sister on her bed with concern in her eyes. Dia gave her a glass of water and tapped on her forehead to wipe pf the sweat.

“A nightmare?” Dia asked with tension in her eyes.

“No..the truth about last night. You remember anything? What all happened?” Lily asked.

“Of course we got back home together..” Dia stated but Lily interrupted by saying, “And you fell asleep While I was driving?”

“Yeahhh right.” Dia said.

“No that’s not right..It’s what that witch stuffed in our minds..Dia last night someone attacked us and that witch saved us.” Lily told Dia.

Dia was looking at her sister with a surprised look and asked, “the same witch that you saw on beach restaurant?”

“Yess..she was the same girl.” Lily said out loud.

“Listen Lily I know I said I trust you but..all this is not making sense at all..a witch and all..this is just..” Dia tried to form sentence.

“Insane..I know I may sound like that but trust me..all this is real..” Lily said.

“Then why only you remember it? Why I can’t recall anything?” Dia questioned.

“I don’t know..” lily said in a low voice feeling disheartened.

Dia rubbed her sister’s hand and hugged her. She said in soft voice, “I’m always with you sissy. And if all this is true then it will definitely come out..I just don’t want you to stress out like this.”

“Hmm.” Lily said and kept on hugging her sister for a while before parting away.
