Chapter 30

..Lily’s flashback continues..

Lily and Sabrina reached Sabrina’s home, where Her boyfriend was already waiting for the duo.

They greeted each other and Lily was offered coffee and some snacks.

After few minutes of chitchatting, Sabrina stood up and said, “Come I’ll show you something.”

Lily obliged and went before her. She lead her to her basement, as she moved down the staircases slowly turned from a modern architecture to a well lit cave from a witchcraft movie.

Lily was so surprised to see a warm lit room with golden brown coloured walls that had an antique table at the centre with an extravagant chair on the two sides of it facing each other.

“Woah so all they show in movies, does exist in real!” Lily exclaimed.

“Most of it. Who knows who amongst the film industry is a witch in disguise. You know adding real to reel.” Sabrina said.

Lily observed everything with great curiosity. She asked about different stuff kept over there, with so much interest that Sabrina felt like she was dealing with baby who was witnessing something amusing for the first time.

“We live amongst you guys like a normal being..You people are just unaware of it.” Sabrina said.

“That’s really amusing.” Lily reacted.

“But how come I’m connected to all this?” Lily asked.

Sabrina thought for a moment as to which extent the information needs to be revealed.

“Umm there’s a bad guy roaming on earth. And Lucifer wants to catch that guy. And that guy targets humans to increase his powers and your sister is in his target. Hence you got involved…and your curiosity added fuel to fire.” Sabrina said.

“My sister? Why?” Lily questioned in concern.

“Umm he has his preference of humans.” Sabrina said. And noticing Lily’s concern she spoke up again, “but you don’t have to worry. Nothing’s going to happen to your sister.”

Lily for that moment believed Sabrina and both of them started going upstairs. While they were going back Lily noticed something in the basement and squinted her eyes.

“Sabrina Is my involvement with all that is just limited to my sister being under attack of that guy?” Lily asked.

“Of course. It’s just that.” Sabrina hesitantly said.

She became mum while Sabrina continued to speak about her kind her beings.

They went upto the main hall and while moving towards the high tea table set by Sabrina’s house help, Lily got hold of a knife that was kept on the centre table of main hall.

Both of them moved towards the high tea table where Sabrina’s boyfriend was already seated. Lily moved towards the empty chair crossing the boy and when she saw her moment she caught him from back and placed the knife on his throat.

“Don’t move!” Lily warned.

“What the hell Lily! Stop it.” Sabrina exclaimed.

“I know your powers don’t work on me. Plus I know there’s something that stops you from harming me. So definitely I’m not scared of you. Just tell me..Is my involvement with you guys is only related to my sister?” Lily questioned.

“Of course Lily. Why would I lie to you.” Sabrina said. She again lied this time. Just because she didn’t wanted to reveal anything before discussing it with Lucifer.

“Lier! Then why you were doing those creepy stuff with my picture?” Lily asked referring to the almost hidden setup that was in basement, Which had Lily’s picture on it.

Lily knew less but she jad an idea how black magic and such enchantments were done.

“Alright so you have seen it. Ok I’ll tell you everything just leave him. He has nothing to do with all that.” Sabrina said.

“First tell me what was that?” Lily said in a normal voice.

“That was because I wanted to find out how you are connected with all this. As even I fell there’s more to it.” Sabrina said.

“You think I’m a fool?” Lily questioned.

“No no trust me. I’ll tell you everything. Just leave him. Trust me we are at your side only.” Sabrina said.

Lily gulped and looked at the scared face of Sabrina’s boyfriend and then looked upto Sabrina who was equally terrified. She then thought to herself “how are you going to apologise for this OTT act my girl?”

Lily then spoke up, “can you explain everything?”

“Yeah of course I can. Please come along with me.” Sabrina said and guided Lily towards the basement again.

Lily followed her to the basement while she could feel the gaze of a man behind her back who was shocked at her act. He was still trying to process what just happened to him…poor human..

“Look. This was the magic that I casted upon you to save you from Gong.” Sabrina said fully revealing the setup that was done along with the picture of Lily.

Lily took a deep breath looking at the creepy setup and asked, “why save me?…I mean, shouldn’t it be like to save my sister?”

“Nope. Gang got to know that you looked like Queen Lilith, hence wanted you aling with Dia. Saving Dia wasn’t a big task for me but saving you was one. All thanx to your curiosity and the acts that you performs because of that.” Sabrina said bluntly.

Lily knew that Sabrina was correct plus she was already feeling guilty for the knife act. “Sorry for what I did.” Lily said.

“That’s ok. But you need to understand that this world is a lot different from the one where you live. Here blackmailing and all doesn’t work. It was me who cooperated but someone else wouldn’t. Ok?” Sabrina made Lily understand the repercussions of her act.

Lily knew she did wrong but her intentions weren’t bad. So she just nodded in silence.

Sabrina came upto her and held her from her shoulders and said, “It’s ok. I know your intention was just to know what was happening around you. Any human would go crazy after finding all these things around them.”

“So no hard feelings?” Lily questioned

“Not at all. Come I have a lot to tell you.” Sabrina said and made Lily sit on a chair.

Slowly and while taking care that Lily doesn’t panic, Sabrina revealed everything she knew about Lily. Including her doubt that Lily is Lilith.

“How can I be the hell queen? That’s just impossible.” Lily asked Sabrina after finding about her supposed link.

“That’s what we have to find out. Now that you know everything we can just go for easier methods.” Sabrina asked.

“Easier methods?” Lily asked.

“Yeah. With your help we can directly find answer to our questions. As Generally it’s quite difficult to get information about other people.” Said Sabrina.

“Ok so what do we have to do?” Lily asked.

“Pray!” Sabrina replied in one word.
