Two of the security men were about the step forward when one of them stopped his colleagues. “Sir, I know him. He is the healer I told you about.” The security guard went forward. “Sir. Whatever he had done to you. Please forgive him.”

Austin furrowed his brow as he watched the security guard beg on his behalf. He glanced at the name tag. “Gabriel, there is no need to beg him. He would face the consequences of his actions when the time comes.”

Gabriel was stunned; he couldn’t believe the man he was trying to plead for was acting proud.

“You heard what he said, and you want me to let this slide. I can’t, you know what. I want you two to beat him until he can’t walk again,” he turned to Gabriel, “As for you, you are suspended, and your two months’ salary seized.”

Gabriel’s eyes shined in disbelief; he found it difficult to believe the chancellor would do this to him; he wished he never uttered a word.

He went to his knees, “Please, sir. Don’t do this to me. I have families to feed.”

Anthony sneered, “You should have thought about it before you decided to go against my order.”

The other security men were scared after what they had witnessed. They wouldn’t want their salaries to be seized.

Gabriel’s blood drained from his palm, and cold sweat dropped from his forehead.

Austin remained calm, despite the scene that was unfolding before him.

Just when the guards were about to take a step forward. “Come with us.” One of them said, as he gripped Austin’s hand.

“You don’t want us to start your punishment here.” The other man said,

The door creaked open, with people being pushed inside the office.

Anthony was taken aback by the faces before him.

“What’s going on here.” He asked in an authoritative tone.

Ryan Daniel stepped inside the office and tilted his head for Austin. “Young master, I have brought them as instructed.”

Anthony’s jaw dropped, same with the security guards. They were stunned to witness some like Ryan Daniel bowing before the man seated before them.

Anthony’s heart raced, unsure of what to do.

Seeing Austin’s sudden expression, Austin let out a smug smile. “There is no room for a second chance; your time has elapsed. It’s now my time to take control.”

Austin stood up from his seat as he watched the faces of the parents of the boys.

“This meeting is not complete, I want the boys to be around to witness whatever will unfold here.”

Ryan grabbed Anthony’s collar, “You heard him, send for the boys.”

Anthony nodded, as his body trembled in fear and uncertainty. Immediately he contacted for the boys to be brought to his office.

A few minutes later, the three boys stepped into the chancellor’s office, but their minds skipped the moment they saw their parents on their knees. Their confidence sank in as they felt their world crumble before them.

Anthony’s mind raced; he couldn’t help but wonder who Austin really was.

The three boys were separated according to how their parents were.

“It’s no longer hidden; I guess you all know why we are here.” Austin said, “But let me remind you in case you have forgotten. Your sons took out the wrong guy. The young man in question is at the hospital battling for his life.”

“Please, forgive us. We know the kids had done bad, but you shouldn’t take it on us, their parents. We can talk about this as adults and settle things amicably.” One of the parents pleaded.

Austin furrowed his brow furiously. “There is nothing to settle, this wouldn’t have happened if you had taught your kids not to bully others.”

“This wasn’t the first time, and if I allow this to slide, your kids will continue to bully other kids in school. I am sure you are all aware, but instead of cautioning your kids, you always wet the pocket of this useless fellow just to keep shut. Your judgement is today; I will make sure you feel the pain of other students and parents.”

Chris Augustus received a thunderous slap from his father, “Is this what you were sent to do in school? Look how you are humiliating the family. I will make sure I deal with you when this is over.”

Chris Augustus cradled his cheeks as his body trembled in fear. He tried to speak but no words came out.

Austin smiled as he heard how other parents scolded their kids.

“I haven’t started, so there is no need to scold them.”

Austin turned to Ryan, “I want each of the families to lose their businesses. Make it crumble to the ground, with nothing left in their names.”

“No, no,” they screamed in fear. “Please don’t do this to us. Give us a second chance.”

Ryan kept a deaf ear to their pleas. He took out his phone and made a few phone calls. After which he came back to Austin.

A few minutes later, notifications and calls kept coming into the phones of the parents.

Tears and screams echoed through the room, each man carrying their crosses.

Anthony watched the scene with his heart thumping fast. He wondered what his punishment would be like. If Austin could inflict pain on this families, who then is he?

Austin watched as two fathers and a mother collapsed. “Wake them up, the show is just getting started.”

The men obliged and poured cold water on them, they got up to continue from where they stopped.

The door creaked open as Susan walked in to know what was happening; her jaw dropped in disbelief and shock. Just when she was about to run.

She was caught by one of Austin’s men, “Bring her here, I also forgot about her. What a coincidence.” He let out an evil smirk.

His heart was thrilled with excitement.“Thank you, Mr. Davis. I appreciate it.” Asher smiled, giving the man two Extra pills, “You shouldn’t take them at the same time, it will be dangerous for your health. You can sell them or keep them for the future.” ‘No, I don’t think I will sell them. I will keep them for the future, like you said,” he replied.“Mr. Brian, your son Antonio has been a problem in my neck, I am only keeping a blind eye because of you. I will not take it easy on him the next time.” Austin stated.“I am sorry, Mr. Davis. I will handle my son when I get home. That shouldn’t be a problem.” He replied. The men continued to talk. “You need to stop taking this lightly,” he said. “Your health is declining faster than you realise. If you keep brushing it off… You won’t last long. Drinking is making things worse. Your kidneys are already strained. If you keep pushing your body like this, it won’t be the enemies outside that take you down, it’ll be what’s eating you from the inside.”“How did he figure this out?” Was he truly a doctor just as Ruddy said? Should I open up to him and seek his help?” Mr. Brian thought inwardly. But what surprised him the most was that Austin only looked at his palm and his eyes to know what was wrong with him. “Mr. Davis, you are right about everything you just said. I am sick and the doctor said I will not last long, but I can’t stop drinking, not with what I am going through every day. Take a look at my only son, always getting me into trouble, my business has not fully recovered after what happened some months ago.”The old man almost dropped in tears as he watched Austin who kept

Mrs. Sarah grabbed the documents and didn’t allow Monica to touch them. “Remember, you said I have been lazy. I have thought about it and don’t want to be lazy anymore, so I thought about going through the company’s documents because I want to know part of it.” Monica raised her brow as she stared at her mother for a moment, unsure of what to say. “I don’t understand, Mom. What are you planning?”Mrs. Sarah only smiled as she stared at Monica’s confused face. “What’s there that you don’t understand, I want to be part of the company. I will be taking the new role as Chief executive officer of the company.” Monica shook her head in disagreement. She couldn’t allow her mother to come into the company all of a sudden. She knew her mother was coming to the company because of something she couldn’t figure out. “No, Mom. You can just wake up one morning and decide you want to take a major role in the company. It’s impossible, I can’t allow that to happen.”She stared at Monica coldly, wi

She couldn’t believe what she just heard, being asked to kneel and apologise to Austin.Could this be a dream? How did she get to this point? She knew better than to disrespect Mr. Brian’s command, not after what she had witnessed at his house a few hours ago. Richard looked frustrated and disappointed. He wished he had never uttered a word or never joined Monica, this wouldn’t have happened, his reputation had been ruined. While Antonio didn’t look disappointed, his inner rage was boiling; he believed his father had gone nuts, or else why would he ask him to kneel before a man whom he was supposed to kill for cutting off his hand? Why would he kneel before Austin just because he sent him out of his birthday party?Mr. Brian’s eyes were blazing with

It wasn’t your fault. She started it.” Hannah replied. She couldn’t tell what got into her that moment when she stood up to defend Austin. “But who is she? Why does she act like she knows you?” She asked, this was not her first time seeing Monica talking down on Austin, she remembered meeting her at the restaurant before now.Austin could only scratch his chin, as he thought of a way to explain it to Hannah. “We were supposed to get married, but things didn’t work out for both parties,” he began explaining how her father wanted her to get married to him, but Monica and her mother were against it, and they had to call off the wedding plans. He also started by being asked to get married and divorce her the same day so she could inherit her father’s property. Hannah paused for a moment as s
