Explosion

The bullet almost did not miss. Dan was only lucky that Dengerberd was not such a good handler of guns, and that he had bent his knee right before Dengerberd pulled the trigger. But the grumpy businessman was not done yet.

"Drop the bag!" He commanded, hoping to take advantage of the fact that he was the one with a gun. But Dan was for sure not a man who listened to threatens.

Dengerberd made to take a second shot. But before he could shoot again, Dan had made a rolling move on the floor, picking up the little bag with himself and sliding away from the doorstep back into the dark passage, while leaving bullets wasted behind on his trail.

"Fuck!" Hermes pulled himself to his feet and made after his old friend in an effort to bring him down.

It was a race against time and against death. From all indications, Swiss and the rest of his men would have heard the gunshots, and they would be on their way in to see what had happened. Hermes needed to find a way out of the situation but first,
