Chapter 1

"Damn, why did this have to happen to me?" grumbled a man who was running fast in the middle of the wilderness.

Not far from where the man was running, he heard the sound of footsteps quickly chasing him from behind.

The sound of a gunshot was heard, hitting the wood near the man.

The figure continued to run, not caring that his feet were bleeding, due to being hit by tree branches or thorny plants in the middle of the forest.

The man only stopped when, in front of him there was a ravine and below it a fast flowing river.

"Damn, damn, damn! Where are the stupid guards!" the man grumbled when in front of him there was only a ravine.

The sound of people chasing him was getting closer. The man gritted his teeth, he was forced to jump from the cliff.

The man's head hit a rock, blood immediately flowed, he became unconscious and his body was carried away by the river current.

Meanwhile the person who was chasing him reached the cliff of the cliff.

"Fuck!" exclaimed one of them.

"Never mind, he'll definitely die if he jumps down, considering there are lots of big rocks at the bottom of the river." the person's friend spoke up.

"You're right, but to be sure, we'll follow the river bank to make sure he's dead!"

they all nodded their heads then went downstairs along the place. Unfortunately they found nothing there.

The group then went home empty-handed, they told their boss that they had killed the man they were chasing and left him in the forest.

Two years have passed since the incident....

In the hustle and bustle of the market, a man in shabby clothes was seen carrying his shopping bag while looking at the shopping list he had written on a piece of paper.

"Vegetables, spices too, just buy fish," said the man with a faint smile.

The man's name is Martin, he is a man who does not have a surname like most people.

Two years ago Martin became the son-in-law of the Bloody family, not knowing where he came from. Old man Bloody married him off to the first grandson of his second child.

Initially, old man Bloody forced one of his grandchildren to marry Martin. However, because Martin's origins were unclear, they refused.

Old Man Bloody was very angry, he scolded all his children and grandchildren, but suddenly Jessica Bloody, the first child of Sarah Bloody and Reinhard Muse, offered to accept Martin, so that his grandfather wouldn't be angry anymore.

Old Man Bloody was very happy with Jessica's decision. They immediately got married, even though Jesica's parents actually didn't agree.

Old Man Bloody gave Jesica and Martin a house as their wedding gift.

Both of their domestic lives were going well, but disaster arrived when Old Man Bloody died.

The house where Martin and Jesica lived was confiscated by Old Man Bloody's first child, on the grounds that they were more deserving of the inheritance rights.

Jesica's parents tried to fight, but unfortunately she couldn't deny what her brother said, so in the end Jesica and Martin lived with Jesica's parents.

Martin's life got worse when he lived with his two in-laws. They didn't consider the man their son-in-law, but just a housekeeper, because Martin didn't have the skills to work outside.

Martin comes home from the market on his electric bicycle. The neighbors gossiped about him being the father of the house. However, all of that had become Martin's daily diet, so he didn't care at all.

"Martin! You've been at the market for so long, where are my clothes that you washed yesterday!"

Just entering the house, Martin was already angry with his in-laws. However, Martin, who was used to his mother-in-law's verbal abuse, was not angry at all.

"Wait a minute, ma'am, Martin will get it inside," he answered softly.

"Quick! I want to go out now!" he snapped again.

Martin just nodded, he rushed inside and looked for his father-in-law's clothes. If he hadn't fallen in love with Jesica, maybe Martin would have left the house that was like hell.

Martin hurriedly brought his father-in-law's clothes, so that he wouldn't be exposed to his father-in-law's insults again.

"Here, ma'am, are the clothes," said Martin politely.

Sarah grabbed the clothes in Martin's hands quickly, she looked at the clothes. "What the hell! Didn't you iron it? Why is it still so wrinkled!" he roared angrily.

"Not yet ma'am, I'm just about to carry out this plan," answered Martin while lowering his head.

"Many reasons! Hurry and do it now!" Sarah threw her clothes in Martin's face and walked away.

Martin took a deep breath, he rushed inside, immediately carrying out his mother-in-law's orders.

Martin's daily life is full of abuse and insults from his in-laws, especially his mother-in-law who really hates him. However, behind it all, at least the man who is the father of the house still has a little warmth when his wife is at home.

Jessica never scolded Martin, in fact she tended to ignore him at all, but for Martin it was better than having the whole family scold him.

After Martin finished ironing his mother-in-law's clothes, he rushed to give them to the middle-aged woman who was a scary figure to him.

No words of thanks came from the lips of the woman who really hated Martin, even though the man had tried to do all his duties well. He just walked away, taking the clothes from Martin's hand while glaring at his son-in-law.

In the afternoon Martin picked up his wife using an electric bicycle. Because it has become a routine activity every day for him.

Martin waited at the gate of the Bloody Group company as usual, waiting for his wife to come home.

Tin... Tin....

The sound of a car horn was deafening, so Martin, who was leaning near the company gate, was shocked.

"Hahahaha... Hey useless man, you better go home! Your beautiful wife doesn't deserve to ride your old bicycle!" scolded the man in the car proudly.

Martin frowned. "What, Mom..." the scruffy man's voice choked when he saw his wife in the car.

"Martin, I'll go home with Samuel, you go home," Jesica ordered flatly.

"Honey, what do you mean? We usually go home together," he said sadly.

"Never mind useless pig, let your wife be with me who can make her happy!" Samuel shouted while grinning.

Martin looked at his wife carefully, but she instead looked away from him, much to Martin's disappointment.

Samuel smiled with satisfaction. "Bye, useless pig."

Samuel stepped on the gas pedal, the car left Martin stunned in his place, clenching his fists.

"Look, the Bloody family's useless son-in-law, what a pity his wife left him."

"Poor whatHe should be aware, a woman as beautiful as Jesica doesn't deserve to be with him!"

"You're right, I think if Jesica hadn't been forced by Old Man Bloody first, she wouldn't have wanted to be with him."

Insult after insult has become Martin's daily diet, but he can't do anything about it, because in reality he is completely useless.

Martin grabbed his electric bicycle, he then left there, the man rode his electric bicycle to Yume Lake on the outskirts of town, where he let go of his sadness.

Martin shouted loudly towards the lake to vent his emotions, that was the only thing that made him calm down a little.

"God, why are you so unfair, the only person I hoped could accept me, now he has also left me, what did I do wrong?!" Martin muttered as he lay limp on the edge of the lake.

Clear tears flowed from the corners of the man's eyes. After two years he tried to give the best to his wife, but now his wife prefers another man.

Martin didn't blame his wife, because he knew for sure that Jesica was very stressed having a husband who couldn't be relied on.

All women definitely want to find happiness, wealth is the first source of happiness for living life.

If he had a lot of money, he probably wouldn't be as humiliated as he is now. He was aware of this, but Martin couldn't do anything, his identity was unclear until now.

"Big sir! Gosh, it turns out it's really you, big sir!"

An elderly man suddenly reprimanded Martin who was kneeling on the edge of the lake.
