Chapter 05 - The Auction Invitation

Indeed I had trillions worth of Dollars.

This began to make me think on whether it was a dream or if truly I have this funds in my account hence this was evidence that what the old man had told me earlier was true.

"Who am I truly?" I asked in confused.

"Here's a whine sir." Elina offered a drink.

Even upon confirming that I had such a powerful balance... The energy of holding such an amount of money was overwhelming to me in a good way because my dark side suddenly awakened.

But it felt normal, it felt natural.

It meant I could afford anything and do anything I wanted to do but then it made me to begin to think about my family and what truly my identity was? Did I really lose my memories?

I needed to contact that old man again.

"Sir, once again I would like to apologize for the embarrassment you faced earlier, it was truly poor, the management didn't take actions immediately to protect you." Elina said and I could tell she thought I was in disguise.

But I won't lie that my heart began to beat after I saw that money balance but I acted relaxed inside hence I noticed Elina's countenance was intrigued but she also quickly ordered herself.

"Sir, I would love to invite you to an auction events Holding this night by one of our account holders, the Owen Auction, I believe you will enjoy the gathering of top state elite and maybe you might be interested in donating to charitable causes." She said with a smile.

I could tell this woman was a very smart woman, judging from the fact that after she saw my bank balance she decided to invite me to visit a prestige auction in this state.

Even the black rock bank partnered in it, I knew the Owen auction because it was a well known and popular business in the States and only top elite people were allowed to visit this place, the opened once per year, making the opening extremely special and important.

Her inviting me felt like something new and thirdly I wasn't interested not until... I looked at the Flier she gave me, seeing a mystical ring

"Alright, I would be there tonight, hope to see you soon." I said to her as she escorted me out.

"Thank you." I dismissed her at the management entrance before exiting the bank, with that kind of bank balance, how would I even explain that I didn't have a car or could afford a ride.

Talk-less of a bicycle, Lol.

I had only my foot, this was my ride! hahaha!

I got into the best hotel in town, where I shopped for wears, lodged a room, refreshed and soon a ride from Black Rock Bank had come to pick me.

I was delighted by their generous services as we soon reached The Owens Auction House where the car parked at the red carpet for me.

I was well dressed in Black Suite, my hair made in the best of curls, black and shiny, my suit, fitted, showing my muscular demeanor as I stepped out, walking through with my invitation card as photographers took countless photos.

"Wow! Who is this new visitor at this edition?" One of the cameraman said as they took photos, I walked further in, into the welcome chambers but then it's indeed a small world after all.

There and there she was!

Lilith! - The first wife of Satan, I mean my now Ex wife, held so sexually in the arms of Ethan Calvino with shock and worry brewing their eyes as they approached me.

I tried walking away but I got blocked.

Oh damn it! I turned back with a fake smile.

"Hi!" I said with my mild smile dying at how irritated they starred like they were looking at some refuge dumb location.

"Oh wow! Kael in Designers, I bet you borrowed it from the lawn." Ethan mocked.

"What are you even doing here?" Lilith asked.

"Oh I was invited." I said and they both laughed.

"You? Not even in your dreams, is it that you can't get over the fact you have lost me? You are a worthless past rag, wake up and stop putting up some stunt to seem like someone important, even with the Versace perfume, I can still smell how broke you are!" Lilith fired.

"Is that so? I didn't come here for you Lilith, nor to entertain you both, I have business here you see, and nothing will stop me!" I said with a straight face and I could tell they didn't believe where my confidence came from.

"You are a liar, you must have stolen someone's invitation to this place from black rock bank, but your hours out of jail are numbered, I just decided to let go what damages you did there but don't think this time I will let you try it!" Lilith warned as she looked at me.

I could see she wondered why her worthless useless husband looked so proper in new expensive designers so I let out a mocking Ha!

"Ha! Meaning I am now a thief, I worked hard building you into what you are now and you now chill with a big deal Ethan Calvino, a renowned billionaire and the person who supported and pushed you while you cheated on him is now the person you call a thief!" I said to her, my eyes red as she felt prolly uncomfortable.

"Ethan, I can't take this filth anymore, I regret ever marrying him, I wish I could make him disappear, he irritates me." Lilith said and I smiled in hurt watching her stand behind him.

"Yes... That's more like it, hide because you can tell how ungrateful you are." I said only for Ethan to walk in front to challenge me.

"Trust me, you don't want to taste your own blood after what you did with my wife." I said to him as he brings his face straight into mine.

He Had so much power in his fingers against a rubbish like myself before him.

"You have ten seconds to fall on your knees and apologize to her, otherwise, my men will handle you." Ethan warns as his men sorrounded me.
