Chapter 162

Early the next morning, even before the birds started chirping, Aiden was up and ready for his travel. He waited in the dark for the telltale sound of his chopper. At exactly 7 am, he heard the sound of the blades beating against the wind. Aiden had packed an overnight bag because he planned to stay till the next day. He vowed to uncover everything and every mystery that shrouded his early years and his father's past.

Aiden made his way to the top of his building, using the stairs discreetly placed in his walk-in closet. He shouldered the door leading to the roof opened and stepped iut. His bag slung over his shoulder.

Eduard stood there with three of his men. The moment he sighted his boss, he made to collect Aiden's bag which he refused with a shake of his head.

A pilot sat in the cockpit. "How long is this flight going to be?" Aiden asked Eduard. He had chosen to travel early to avoid any delays on the way.

"It will take 6 hours sir. We will also have to touch base every two hours
