Okay, Avery got him. There was no way he’d tell the man that those people weren't his real parents but just some people who looked like them.

Yet, he really did want to see them. He turned to Avery. “What if what we meet there isn't a good one? I might not have the vigor to go to the store anymore if I find my parents are already zombies. Let's go to the store first and there, after.” Danny said.

Avery didn't argue with him but instead led the way while Danny trailed behind. His mood had dwindled as he had begun to be crippled in fear of the unknown.

The store sure was in bad shape and when they entered it, they found its shelves were empty shelves. Avery and Danny could hear the faint groaning of zombies inside.

They were not alone here.

“This place sure is creepy," Avery whispered.

Danny turned to him, nodding in agreement. “Just like every other goddamn place here. If the weather changes and the bloody rain falls, we are done for. Sounds like there's a lot of them in here.” He said
