The next day, the order was printed in every newspaper, a letter was written to every registered guild, and to the registered adventurers, a message popped up on their bracelets. It wasn’t long before almost every living sole within the nation of Verglacia knew of the order.

Lucien waited within the castle, constantly listening to the reports of what guilds were complying, and those who weren’t.

He heard these reports from within the council room along with the twelve council members. He stood against the wall while the twelve conversed amongst themselves about how to subjugate those who refuse to comply.

“Not many are agreeing to obey the order. It seems they all adore the freedom to do as they please rather than be under our control,” one of the council members observed.
