Too Late

As soon as Alston yelled, the Monarch’s forces let out a roar and charged forward. As they did, Alisha drew her bow and arrow and aimed at the center of the Revolutionary army forming a massive magic arrow. She allowed the string to slip through her fingers and the arrow shot off with massive energy behind it.

The Revolutionary army watched as the arrow screamed towards them. It grew bigger and bigger in their vision, and they felt death was just around the corner as they closed their eyes.

There was a loud sound like that of a thunderclap and then a blast of wind as the ground beneath their feet shook.

The Revolutionary army opened their eyes with confusion to see a cloud of smoke where the arrow just was.
