In Game: Survive or Be Killed

10: XENTHRAL KINGDOM

Ashtria never stopped defeating skilled robots. Lucas assisted her until there were only five skilled robots left. Sanya, on the other hand, leaves them and proceeds to the great wall that separates the Triadrial Kingdom from the Xenthral Kingdom.

"They're getting close, Ashtria, we need to get out of here," Lucas says as he fights and attacks two skilled robots.

Ashtria fixed her gaze on the three robots who were still waiting for her to attack. When she saw a dim light, she focused her eyes on its neck. Perhaps the dim light she saw was their weakness; she remembered her battle with the other robots earlier and how every time she tried to cut their necks, they fought back. 

"No, I want to beat them before we Ieave," Ashtria stated as she prepared her two blue rose swords to fight the robots in front of her. She dashed into them to attack them, and Lucas merely gnashed his teeth in frustration. The Triadrial Kingdom's guards, on the other hand, are now meters away from their location.

Sanya, on the other hand, was trying her best to find the secret path to go to the Xenthral Kingdom without the security guards and knights knowing. Minutes later, Sanya finally found the secret path and quickly goes back as fast as she could. Ashtria and Lucas finally defeated the skilled robots and quickly run away when they saw the knights with their horses visible in their eyes. The others were trying to shoot them with arrows but they avoided them smoothly. 

"I told you if we just escape from them and didn't bother to beat those robots we won’t be in this situation," Lucas scolded her while they were running. Ashtria rolled her eyes and didn't respond to what he said. 

Sanya began to shout their names which made them look in her direction and quickly goes to her. "Did you find it?" Lucas ask her and Sanya nodded in response. "Good," he added. 

They were now at the running river walking to get past through the water. It’s hard for them to walk as it is also raining and their clothes and bodies are wet which made them hard to walk and run faster but they still do their best to escape. 

While they were walking through the river two men with their horses almost took Ashtria but she immediately slides her sword cut their hands and scream in pain. 

"You're really violent, miss," Sanya said while looking at the two men fall into the water while holding their arms crying in pain. 'I don't want her to get angry, she just cut their hands without hesitation,' Sanya thought to herself. 

The three of them halted in a big bush and quickly hide and waited for the knights to pass them. Ashtria place her swords at her back after they heard the knight far away from them now. Sanya let out a heavy sigh and sit on the ground after running very fast without stopping. "Escaping is really hard," she murmured. 

"Are we near the secret path?" Ashtria asks and wanders her eyes around to check and take her eyes back at Sanya who's slowly getting up from sitting on the ground. 

"No, we still need to walk for more. A little bit," Sanya said and shake the dust off from her pants. "Just follow me, I know some shortcuts to get there quickly," she added and started to walk. Lucas and Ashtria started to walk either and followed Sanya's footsteps.

They all continued to walk and parted the branches that covered their path. There they saw a mini cave that was covered by a mini door where they can enter the Xenthral Kingdom. "This will lead us to Xenthral kingdom forbidden forest. It is full of monsters too but it is better than those knights and guards protecting the main gate," Sanya said and open the mini door. 

Sanya started to crawl. Ashtria looks at Lucas and gives him a sign to crawl first. "You should go first," Lucas said and just stand waiting for Ashtria to crawl first. 

"No, I don't trust men," Ashtria said and cross her arms. Lucas raises his brows and speaks. 

"What am I gonna do to you? staring at your flat butt?" Ashtria’s eyes widened after hearing those words from Lucas. She immediately took her dagger out and leveled it at Lucas's throat which made him raise his hands. 

"Say it one more time and I will cut your throat immediately," Ashtria said looking at Lucas’s eyes intently. Sanya notice that the two didn't follow her anymore so she came back and saw Ashtria point her dagger at her brother’s throat. 

"What's the matter to you two? Do you still want to argue at this moment? What if the knights found you two there? There’s no time to waste!" Sanya scolded them which made Ashtria slowly removes her dagger from Lucas’s throat. 

Lucas shrugged his shoulders and move his eyes from the mini door to tell Ashtria to go first. She gritted her teeth and places her dagger on her waist and started to crawl. 'I really want to punch this guy's face,' she thought to herself while crawling. Sanya just let out a heavy sigh and started to crawl as well. 

They're still in the mini cave and it's really hard for them to breathe because only a bit of oxygen can enter the cave. "Upon entering the Xenthral Kingdom, all of us must be wary of our surroundings. The people in the Xenthral kingdom are very skilled and hard to beat," Lucas said. 

"I am thinking before we leave at the kingdom, why won't we go play a game to get silver and golds? I heard there were too many underground battles in the Xenthral Kingdom," Sanya suggested which made Lucas surprised. 

"It's a no, Sanya. It is very dangerous, we need to wait to get out from here before we tried on battling against people here. I heard one of the top ten fighters in the Xenthral Kingdom is one of the top thirty world's strongest fighters. We can't win against them," Lucas explained. Ashtria just rolled her eyes. 

"Do we still have money?" Ashtria asks. 

"N-no, I guess only five silver left," Lucas immediately answered looking at Ashtria's back. 

"Then that gives us a reason to play a game. Outside of the wall is much more dangerous, am I right? We need to buy food and drinks for our journey. I only have one bag of silver left, it is not enough for the three of us unless I am alone," Ashtria said, making Sanya faintly smile as she was excited to see them play the rumored game. She had the guts to force the two to play the game because she believes they are strong to win the game. 

They are finally out of the mini cave and Sanya takes a breath after minutes of crawling. They heard the birds singing and the trees were swaying as the strong wind came in. 

"The forest looks safe but it isn’t," Sanya suddenly speaks which made the two look at her. "We're now at the Xenthral Kingdom," she added with a smile on her face.
